filter by heat? never heard of that and i rarely search more than 2 pages, so if a quick thanks brings it up to the top again then it will get more "hits" etc
#6
^^ ehh,, what you on about? Have you never seen the large box to the side that says "hottest today"?

that shows 5 deals at a time?

the ones that are there always have loads of comments and therefore confirming what i was saying nft

5 of the hottest deals. As I said people flick through the deals checking heat, not the number of pointless comments in a thread. Point in example, this thread. Flies to ****.

Sums it up nicely. We're flies and this thread is ****. Glad you can see and appreciate that fact :)

This thread is indeed nonsense, but Paul, you are also talking absolute nonsense. YOU might filter by heat, the majority don't. Thankfully not everyone is like you.

It's nice to see people being thanked by someone who has been helped.
Otherwise you might think that person was a miserable old git and you yourself might not be inclined to help them in the future.
If thanks were not allowed, or they weren't open to view, then every one would appear to be bad mannered, miserable gits.

He is right, people would miss out on deals due to the bumps on older threads. Heat system doesn't work on its own.

its a forum.......the tools are there to use and abuse:)

why do these H&R/Thanks comments bother you so much? Just ignore them, don't read them, and sort your deals by 'Hot'.
Problem solved

People should set up custom tab and then there is no need to ever miss anything again. :)

I still can't work that out. I'll have to set Darrens up like mine and you can see if it shows anything different.
