you referring to the carbon monoxide alarm thread m8? just had a quick read and theres some daft comments for sure, but I dont see that they are personally aimed at YOU? people will always vote hot or cold depending on whether THEY consider it good, and that is their right-freedom of speech and all that-dont take it personally.

There was a comment on there yes which confirmed what I was thinking. But there is a general feeling anyway that very often a thread will get voted on depending on who posted it, and it also provokes a lot of silly or straight-up rude comments.

Honestly i'm not taking anything seriously, as I said on that thread there is a lot more to life than HUKD lol, but I just think that if this is going on (which i'm pretty certain it is) then it makes a mockery of the voting system.

I was just interested to hear Admin's take on it really, but cheers for your reply!

I'm sure it skews voting sometimes but also remember that voting power is related to someone's past performance in finding deals. So there is some weighting to try and control that.

However, any time you have a "democratic" system there are going to be elements of mass mentality at play which distort an objective vote.
