If 2-3 people hit the spam button on the same deal, It seems to get removed yes.....

Although when the rep wasn't adjusted, I was able to "spam" a deal, But now it seems to take 2+ people.

Some 'senior' members can 'spam' a deal and it vanishes. You may be able to send it to cyber land by yourself, I don't know.
As to what happens to it, soz, I ain't got a clue but I've know a Mod put a 'spammed' post back so it must be 'held' somewhere.

i think it takes 2, spam what you like dont hesitate, the mods can always move it back, better to be safe than sorry!

Yes spam it if its spam. It gets sent to a spam "forum" and can be put back if not although everything isn't really carefully checked so don't just randomly spam things.

Also, if you feel it warrants checking out, use the report abuse button as well.

If it is definite spam, stick a quick post in the thread asking others to spam it to, and if possible not to reply in the thread as it bumps it up unneccessarily :)

Whereas I understand the term 'Spam' in relation to unwanted emails for 'male body enhancing products' etc. it seems to have acquired a different meaning on here.

If someone posts a new Hot Deal, and another member uploads exactly the same deal shortly afterwards, is that an occasion when the second one should quickly be reported as 'Spam', by clicking the button?

Or have I got that wrong?

Sounds about right montala.... our forum extends the definition of spam a little bit. We ask that you click the spam button on posts that are not wanted/needed in the forum.

For any that require a mods immediate attention, we ask that you use the report abuse button :)
