I use Vista, I believe it's a problem with internet explorer, I downloaded firefox last week and it's fine for me.

Yes, I am using IE 7... as are a lot of other people too I suspect.

Not really a reason to change over to Firefox though... well not for me anyway.

Any chance it will get 'fixed'?
#3
'They' know about it, when it gets fixed is anyone's guess. Don't hold your breath though. :)

I use FF for this site, and IE for everything else.

If 'they' do know about this particular problem, then 'they' should get it fixed ASAP. I presume the forums are run using some form of customised standard software package, the developers of which are failing in theur duty in allowing a problem such as this to remain 'unfixed'.

Internet Explorer is almost an 'industry standard' web browser, and there was no problem with the 'old' site in including an image, so I wouldn't expect there to be one with the latest offering.

I find it rather surprising also that we have still not had any response from an 'Admin' representative in this thread... do they really care any more, I wonder?

Hi Montala - as thesaint said "we/they" know about it. It will be fixed yet. To be really honest it is not the number one massive priority as we are more concerned about optimisation and stability right now as well as larger design bugs. We understand this is an error though and will correct it.

In the meantime you can use the regular bbcode (which is all the button does for you) by putting [img] before the url to the image and [/img] after the url.

Hi 'Admin'... Thanks for your prompt reply.

I am sure that doing it the way you suggest... which should have occured to me anyway! will be much easier than changing over to Firefox.

It is surprising how short a time it took to get used to the redesigned site... I wasn't actually aware that there were that many problems still to be 'sorted', but it is nice to know that 'someone' is still looking down on us!

So it does... but that image just doesn't look quite right somehow!! :-D :w00t:

Just one tiny comment... the 'vBulletin' image in the URL box doesn't display... but I am sure that can wait until as and when!

Thanks for fixing it anyway!

True but there are a thousand other reasons to use FF over IE7, the main one being its much faster.
