Problems with jumping direct link on Amazon
I have a deal on at the moment for Amazon. I set the link up and checked. However about 30 mins later when I checked it was aimed at a third party seller of the same product for a lot more.
When I tried to fix it I could not get the direct link to aim at it and in fact had an amazingly hard time finding a direct link to the Amazon page. I have now had to resort to putting the direct link in the thread and putting a note on my deal. I have in the past noticed other posters links on Amazon that have not gone to the right place, but to a third party seller.
Is this an Amazon problem?
Deliberate or Technical?
Anybody else notice it?

it is currently out of stock for delivery from Amazon.
the link you posted on thread creation was to the cheapest in stock supplied via Amazon(which was them at the time)

I am aware that the link changed, and from what your saying it was the lack of stock that did it, but I should have been able to edit the link to point back to the original item even if it was out of stock. However when I tried the direct link would not take the new link, but I was able to paste the link into a post on the thread. This suggest the direct link box has something happening to it that a link going on a thread does not.
What is going on here?
