I think many are in the same boat Steve.

I've not had a single notification since I got my iPhone 7. I've tried everything, triple checking all settings, logging out, deleting the app, etc..

They need to fix this.

Not just iphones, broke on android as well :(
Just need to wait for the next update.

To change your Alerts/Custom settings you'll find the option CUSTOM TAB SETTINGS when you click/hover on your avatar. Quick link here - https://www.hotukdeals.com/custom-settings (under the tags and make sure email is ticked etc for anyone else unsure).

I'll see if I can get an update about the push notification issue for keyword alerts via the app.

I am using the mobile website and desktop and even I am missing notifications occasionally until I actually click on notifications and it tells me someone replied to me.... yesterday :P

BTW. You misunderstood my question about alerts. The method you described does not allow you to edit for alert keywords, how do I do that?

Hi everyone, if you could, under the profile tab (rightmost tab) in the app, under the "..." menu there's an option to Contact Us. This will pre-fill an email with some valuable information that will help us investigate for you. Received this information already from a few users, thank you it's a great help 8)

iPhone users may want to double check their Settings App > Notifications > HotUKDeals to verify they've enabled push notifications in iOS.

Both iPhone and Android users should check their Activity tab > Gear icon > Deal alerts > Check that push notifications are enabled and configured how you'd like to receive them. Also, check the Activity tab and let us know if you're missing items in there as well, or whether they're showing properly in the Activity tab, but you're just not receiving push notifications for them.

Hi, this also affects desktop users not recieving notifications too you know, I probably only recieve about half. It has been getting worse lately, for example, I used to get a notification everytime someone ''liked'' a post. Now I can check back in a thread later and it could have recieved 5 likes and there is no history in notifications of recieving any at all. This is with continuous use of the desktop, without switching between mobile/app/desktop.

I am also missing out replying to people as I have had absolotely no notification of a response, sometimes I can check back and there has been multiple responses but again, no notifications.

There have been a few threads posted about the desktop version being affected so please don't brush it aside.

Android users: Still investigating, but something that's helped a few users -- if you're running any sort of security or firewall software on your phone, we use a technology called http://www.pushwoosh.com to help us send our notifications. If you've accidentally blocked traffic to this service, you won't be able to receive our notifications properly.

Hi - I'm using the app on an Ipad Air 2 with up to date IOS. Have not been receiving push notifications for some time now. Is there any chance of a resolution to this in the near future?

I have checked all the appropriate settings, turned off vpn and blockers, reinstalled it; all to no avail. Every other app that sends notifications works fine.

Updated the app on my Air 2 earlier and have just received my first notification in quite a while. Well done.

It looks like alerts have screwed up again. Bizarrely I am getting some, but not others. If I login to the app I can see loads of ones in my Activity that I have missed. I'm not sure but it appears to be alerts that I set up a while ago that aren't coming through, the more recent ones are delivered. Is anybody else seeing this?
