As i pointed out. The decision was made to allow them to remain in deals. Misc isn't meant to work as a deals section as it is what it says on the tin. A place for misc ramblings.

Isn't also used for a number of discussion and news threads? That's exactly what the PS Plus post is every month ... news and a load of ramblings by lots of people discussing the merits or otherwise of the new games being offered that month. Sounds like an ideal candidate for Misc!

You chose to do that as you had nothing better to do, time and trouble lol

... said for effect ;) ... and I actually did it because I wanted to do something positive and constructive to support my argument that non deals such as PS Plus updates should be in Misc.

If Misc is not suitable why can't a separate section be created for periodic updates to services such as PS Plus, XBox Live, NetFlix etc. The easy solution is to allow them to be posted in deals, the right solution would be to create a proper place for them!

That would be upto the site chiefs. Mods would have no say in that.

I know and I'm not having a go at you personally I just think that the 'higher ups' could address customer needs more. Someone more cynical might say that management don't want to invest that much effort any more.

Misc should not include sales. PS+, just like everything else in the deals section is a product/service offer a company is making in return for money. If you think it represents good value then you vote hot, if not then you vote cold.

You cannot decide the value of the service without knowing what the games are, hence you work on a month by month basis.

You should also not forget that not everyone is subscribed to PS+ continuously. Some people only subscribe when there is a really good month.

It's not pedantic, it's very pertinent as your misconception goes some way to explain your peculiar attitude. Acknowledgement that HUKD owe you nothing is key to a healthy membership. Otherwise you're just going to end up mugging yourself like so many others before you.

I'm still not going to be drawn into your argument but you're right we aren't customers but as members we should still expect to be able to have a voice and opinion.
