  Regarding what? No filing orders ? Returns ? because The Hut and Zavvi get a lot of negative feedback as well. How much do you need to get banned?

  They're suspended currently while we look into complaints from members that Scan were specifically requesting their facebook followers and forum members to post on our forum. We received numerous emails from community members expressing their concerns that Scan may be pushing or incentivising promotion.

  Hiya colin, this decision only happened in the last few hours, and of course there's proof of the main issue- I put the ban in place temporarily so I could have a look through their posts and get an idea of the extent of what's been going on (other issues such as direct sp, comment sp etc) before making a final decision. (ie temporary suspension or full ban..)

  HUKD has it's logo and links on numerous sites requesting shoppers to flood this site with it's merchandise.

  I presumed you knew about it, they did it nearly every single time they posted a deal on facebook last month. First comment was begging someone to post it on here.

  Well can only find it twice but know for a fact they did it a fair few times more than that.

  Guv, a decent product will always be shared and go viral at it's own pace, either by the consumer using social media (like share buttons) or by posting it on a site like this/MSE/AV etc.
  
  Natural viral activity does not involve the merchant requesting people post on it's behalf; it's akin to self promotion. Realblender hit the nail on the head in his comment here

  We'll agree to disagree. All the time you have sites with your logo and a link shouting "promote me, promote me", I really can't see the difference. They have both asked for the same thing. Maybe if Scan had these links, they wouldn't feel inferior to your preferred client base?

  I expect there is much worse and more devious behaviour from scan that has led to this decision. Hotukdeals has only made public what they have have good evidence for.

  they will 100% be back when they decide to cough up enough cash to be allowed to "self promote". They may even get a little icon to put on their website making it even easier for the community to promote their deals depending on how much cash they stump up.
