  OK thanks. Perhaps the wording could be changed from "if your threads receive..." to "if any of your threads receive...", just to make it a bit clearer?

  Fair point, cannibalwombat, although that could probably still be misinterpreted.
  
  How about... "If any one of the threads you create receive..."?
