I understand your concerns, but surely community votes will ultimately determine their future outside the voucher section. For example, if and when they become excessively apparent - more voters will vote cold, which should in time naturally slow the amount posted, as people don't like posting potentially cold items. However all the time the community gives heat, so be it. If the voters want it, the posters will feed it!

Ha ha, well just maybe ..they'll offer me a job one day! :D

The 'same code deals' definitely presents a debatable subject, though I do see both points of view and understand the for and against arguments.

It's the same every time a new code comes out be it for Rakuten, Tesco or whatever. One or two posts I can accept, even a megathread showing some of the best deals using the code but one person has posted over 8 so called separate deals using the same code!

I personally like the community megathread idea. It keeps it separate - but still accessible for those who may want to see the suggestions of others for the codes potential uses.

Agreed, the code is the deal, not the item, fair enough having one thread for everything, but the title should show the original price on individual deals, then in the OP they can say 'don't forget to use xxx voucher code'.

One or two posts I can accept,

It's not really your place to 'accept' anything though is it? You're just a plain old vanilla common or garden member like the rest of us. if you are really whiling away your evenings expiring zombie threads, you have waaaaaaaay too much time on your hands.

You troll threads and I tidy up as I'm browsing ... each to their own ... ;)

I've noticed it's more relaxed now too, I've had a couple of deals removed in the past as the code was in vouchers and as far as they was concerned, that was enough and didn't need more of the individual deals clogging up the site. but now it must just be a money thing.

Most things are allowed these days, they justify it by saying that if it's not wanted then it will be voted cold.
