Recent Activity does not show recent threads

  I've noticed that subscribed threads don't show as bold a lot of the time when theres new posts. Don't know if thats related or not though.

  my recent activity on the right hand side doesnt get updated when someone adds to a thread as it used to....and i miss things cos of it :(

  I've created a new thread for that issue Plumberman. This thread is about the fact that sometimes really old threads are in the recent activity widget. :)

  i currently have 10 in my list
  the last 1 is a thread i created (old ones always seem to be own threads)
  by posting here it should be knocked off no.10 spot but iirc it doesn't happen like that
  *posts*
  edit: gone off end of list - will try it again next time pops up incase memory going

  had 10 in list
  old one was still at bottom no.10
  posting within top 9 just changed position left no.10 unchanged
  posting in new thread pushed no.9 off list and kept old thread at no.10 (as i expected to happen above)
  
  post in new thread - went to no.1 no.10 remained unchanged (new no.9 bumped)

  I had this a while back, then when I posted more it was going up again, noticed a couple of days ago it was 7 again but realised the missing threads were spammed threads.

  I've had a chance to dig into this a little more, and this is how the recent activity widget works (The widget, not the follow list in your profile):
  
  

  The Recent activity widget currently acts as a kind of monitoring for your recent activity exclusively. What it is, is a list of all the threads you have posted on or commented in within the last month (Up to 10) in the order that you posted the thread/commented in the thread. It monitors the time of your comment, not of the most recent comment in that thread.

  
  
  I don't think this makes sense (At least from a user standpoint). I think it should be a list of threads you've commented on/created in the order that they were last updated/commented on. What do you guys think?
