I am just wondering whether anyone else agrees with me, that all refurb deals should be clearly posted, preferably in the title.
I am getting tired of going to a deal that seems to be hot, then realising its a refurbishment.
Now there, is nothing wrong with refurbishments in general, however I prefer to buy my products brand new. For me, its important to know that it is a refurbishment because that means its broken down once already or been taken back for some reason. For many reasons, one that I can think of straight off the top of my head is the Sales of Goods Act...brand new you would still have a case, refurbishment though I think you may not have a case.
eg. If I buy a new computer with a 1 year warranty, I could still argue that the computer should last for at least 2-3 years if something goes wrong after the first year, and the company would probably cede this and do something about it.
If its a refurbishment though, the company could very reasonably argue that given it is a refurbishment you have to expect the lifespan to be much shorter.
Does anyone else agree with me, about the labelling of the refurbishment deals?
