That sounds really annoying. Unlucky miximixi. Just wondering is this just a one off thing? Or have they always been like this? Ive never used them before.

I'm not sure mate about how they have been before but my deal that day was voted pretty hot and they went OOS next day so I assume they must have sold a handful of games. Now all I'm getting on my original post is from people who are complaining about Hitari cancelling the deal and not refunding them unless being chased. I just feel responsible for that post and thought I should put this request up.

True but I see no reason why a retailer should let customers get to that stage to set charge backs. That's only the case for scammers not retailers. This is shameful.

Hmm... certainly it doesn't seem like that other deal went well, but is this a repeated pattern? It would seem an overreaction to suspend a retailer over a single incident - unhonoured misprices are unfortunate, but I'd say that it would be unreasonable to expect a retailer to take a potentially significant loss from a mistake. Hopefully the refund issue will sort itself out shortly, of course.

I am not enforcing it, I am suggesting it. It seemed like a concern. I was not one who bought from the deal (so my position is neutral here) but the number of complaints on my deal are increasing. Morally, one had to bring this up and I did it. If there are concerns, they should be shared. If the complaints are high, I think it is fair for mods to look into it. Obviously this is not an over-reaction or anything close. Also, please do not be confused. This is not about being a misprice that is not been honoured or not. People are complaining that unless they don't contact the retailer to ask for refund, the retailer is not refunding them. What would your position be if you were one of them?

Yeah, I do appreciate the facts of the situation, though as it's not been that long since the cancellations it may be that they're yet to process them all through? Of course, I couldn't say whether there's a valid reason for that, but with the last sentence from my earlier post I was intending to suggest giving them a chance for refunds to get sorted out. If that doesn't happen within a few days then I'd agree that this becomes a more significant issue.

It is a week (almost) and I just thought my part would be to bring the issue up. Even if mods decide not to react, at least this post will be a reference that can be referred to for future incidents. I do appreciate your view as well, I possibly should not have suggested a suspension and remained neutral in the feedback, but I guess I admittedly I was influenced by the recent comments left on the post. Either way, I don't think I did any harm reporting the issue. It is just a very bad feeling when you have posted a deal and things are going wrong with it, horribly.

Only a couple of days since the cancellations, though? IIRC, it's quite common for retailers to quote 3-5 days for refunds to be processed, depending on the payment method used - though of course, that does assume that refund have been initiated. But yes, flagging up the point is no bad thing, as it can help to identify where a one-off issue starts to become a trend.

I guess that we wait and see what the mods decide!

I will leave it to the point I started it. If there is anyone who wishes to complain they can. It is at least going to be a reference for any further incidents.

Absolutely dreadful service. I've been out of pocket for 5 days now!

To repeat what I said in the original deal, there wasn't even a mention of a refund in Hitari's cancellation email.

That's poor customer service right there, before we mention the misprice or slow pace of refunds.
Luckily I asked for mine on cancellation day and got it back to Paypal.

At this time of year (financial year end-ish), I might even venture that what they did was effectively borrow money from customers to shore up their balance sheet. The financials on Endole don't look good to me, although accounting isn't my area. No turnover noted, low net worth, high asset value (which I take to mean unsold stock) and high liabilities (money they owe).

Thanks again for raising this. After spending a bit of time looking at the thread you linked and information elsewhere we're going to put this merchant on suspended status.

I sent an email on Saturday, just got a reply, turns out that they sent a email explaining it was OOS but it went into my spam folder for some reason, but in that email it had no mention of a refund but the customer service said I could exchange it for something else or a refund, personally it's stupid that you have to ask for a refund when it should really be automatic
