Should ebay "deals of the day" be allowed on here as a thread in their own right? - HotUKDeals

Exactly. And surely ebay are putting their name to it and are sourcing stock from a reputable wholesaler??

Yes but by the same token people know there's going to be offers at Tesco so they can just go and check the site out or drive to the shops  Half the point of this site is buying junk that you don't need and never knew you wanted until it gets an insane reduction and then you **MUST** have it lol

I don't need a divx player, but as I wasn't going on ebay today I would have missed this unless someone posted a deal to another company, and I read the whole thread, and several people mentioned it was available cheaper on ebay. But as the deal is at ebay, surely it should be allowed in its own right (and expired when OOS)

Allowing one type of deal from ebay but not others would just confuse the noobs, we'd get tons of spam, it's not worth it.

is thischeaper to buy on e bay ??

I would be agains't this as theres no real support for users with regards to problems with ebay. Customer service would be shocking.

but if I get this right then your not dealing with ebay(well unless something goes really wrong then paypal etc come into play) but a reputable shop like ebuyer. and if customer service were a pre requisite to get a deal on here then there'd be about half a dozen retailors allowed.

I'd still be against this though as had already been mentioned the place would be filled with spam from guys selling their ebay junk and those who couldn't distinguish between a deal of the day and someone selling a "weee" for tenner.

i know, I was just disagreeing with your reason for not allowing them which would mean half the front page would vanish.
