I don't understand how it can explain any of the temperatures, as the most you can give yourself is -+9? degrees.

I don't vote on my own deals, but have no problem with those that do.

Can only add heat to each thread once so an individual vote isn't going to make a huge difference in the popularity of the thread.

I think you should be able to vote on your own deal, sometimes i post a deal thats cold so i vote cold!

Don't see why not, I have the ability to judge my own deals in the same way I judge others.

Ah OK, didnt realise all votes had equal weighting. Always thought it depended on your status. If I click to give heat it goes up by 6 degrees

It does depend on a variety of things but it stops at 9 at the moment. A lot of people are on the top figure. :)

If you think its a good deal - (and you obviously would if you posted it), why not vote along with *every* other members ability to do so? I'm sure our Prime Minister voted for himself!!!! ;-)

Quite so:thumbsup:

don't forget you can just vote warm (rather than hot) for an ok deal.
#11
As there are so many people that vote new deals cold for the fun of it, I think you need all the help you can get at the start, so by all means vot your deal hot! (and then watch it plummet to -50 before you hit refresh)

I think voting warm (Lukewarm) is dependant on how others have voted.

I just checked and whatever I vote, it stays the same lol

I just ±0º

dont usually vote on my own deals, but when i do, it varies from 1 degree to 2

I think it's quite good because usually when something has little or no feedback, no one pays attention to. But when they actually see some heat then they will take notice of it.
