If you use Safari as your web browser it has a 'back to index' function built in that you can access with one click.

Do you mean within a thread?

Hitting the "Home" key on your keyboard will take you to the top of the page, and "End" will take you to the bottom if that's any help :)

Woot thanks very much!!! I really must take time out to learn more keyboard shortcuts, wonderful things that they are.

Links are already shortened and I'm using a 12inch lappy so don't want two bars.

Thanks again

a good tip for browsing on a laptop is to press F12 or it may be F11.

Try it. press the same key to reverse the effect.

Then you can have 2 rows of links :)

Thanks, know about that one. I probably knew about the home key at some point though as I have an HNC in computing, lol, but not entirely sure.

I'm great with binary and hex mathematics yet can't get to the top of a page, ha ha, thats education for you.

You can also use small icons, and move the back/forward/home/etc buttons onto the top row, and push the file, edit, etc to the right on the same line.
