Agreed. :)

I know that most of the info is here, but the help link is too small and it would probably be better if it was added up the top of the page with the other categories.

I'm also confused about the Ask section as I thought, from Mods moving questions from misc, it was the place to ask any questions, but the help page says that Misc is the place for that and ask is for questions relating to deals. oO

Not complaining. Just giving feedback. :)

I think if one wishes to ask the opinion of fellow members one should use the ASK forum . If a member has no regard for the opinions of other members then just use Contact to have a whinge -simple

Ask implies to me -well - Asking ,inviting views of others - Misc ,to me, is making a Statement and expecting other members to agree .

Which is why they shortened it to Misc :)

To contact the site there is a 'contact' (rather than the almost universal 'contact us') link...

It is actually shown twice; once as "Contact Us" (beneath the "Stay in Contact" heading), & the other, as you mentioned, just as "Contact" (at the bottom of the page):

A good point, overlooked and missed.

It still does not answer why the rules and etiquette of the site are hidden away though. If you were to trawl through the 'Ask' section then you would find a plethora of threads which did not belong in that section, and that questions of any sort have been posted there.

I only bring this up because of the frequency in which I report threads which have been posted in the wrong section of the website.

It would be nice to receive feedback on the feedback which is given instead of being ignored. This is a very sensible suggestion and the isuue can be resolved very easily.

I'm proplbably better to pose this question in 'Ask'. It's strange how much more attention a section of this website receives when it has more exposure on Google.

In case you need a reminder (although you & brilly already contributed to this thread):

That was also a thread which went ignored along with the earlier thread which I posyed a link to in that thread, although both raised a valid point.

It seems to me that genuine queries are ignored in feedback. There is more mod acticity in misc.
