I don't know why people spam threads in Misc,it's childish and petty.
#2
Can't mods prevent this from happening?
#3
Maybe because it is spam?

You posted a link in one thread and made your point there. Why do you then need to create another thread just to post the link again? Surely that is the very definition of spamming.

Because the first one was spammed! Why can't there be an open forum for discussion? And yes i know this is a shopping site but it is also a community and i feel strongly that this is an issue that needs to be discussed in the interests of everyone!

Yes, and you have raised the issue, and given your link in the other thread, where it has been discussed...

You seriously believe you could have an "adult" discussion on HUKD about this subject matter? It is FAR too deep an issue-I never spammed your original threads by the way,but really, you are wasting your time with this here.

The "evidence" on your original link btw,is similar to the "evidence" that supports the facts that violent video games turn people into serial killers. From reading your original link,it looked to me more like a bunch of people who maybe "protested too much".

Also should be remembered that there are underage people use this site, and misc in particular-however,if you want to discuss it,and the mods decide its allowed then thats what matters so they must decide. I personally wont be taking part in any such thread,as a parent,I am uncomfortable with adults who want to discuss pornography/sexual violence etc on a site populated by children-my personal opinion is that that is creepy.

where is the other thread?

Here: Sky thread

I do think you should be allowed your 'discussion', but repeatedly making new posts isn't the way to do it, and posting the same links in any thread where there is a slight hint of relevance isn't the way to do it - its little wonder people consider it to be spam.

Shark your link was very political, from a very feminist stance, including all the misogyny etc. It was very, "all men are sexual monsters because of porn".....discuss........

So many people have told you they don't think it's appropriate you discuss it here. When I pointed out to you, you couldn't discuss it properly here as it would get pulled, you said you didn't want to discuss it, you just wanted one man to read your link, like you are on some mission to convert to the feminist cause.

To discuss porn from a feminist point of view would include things such as, rape, domestic violence, violent porn, the sex industry, sexual habits, sexual practices with regards to their influence of porn, etc.

You are off your rocker if you think this is a subject that can be discussed in depth on a shopping forum which is used by many kids.

I agree with Barky and Tinkerbell28 - I have not spammed and also will not be discussing.

FAO mods. why cant i voice my opinion? Why has my reply to this thread been deleted twice now? What is the problem?

sharkalos, as this is feedback it's not the correct place to continue the actual debate, but the thread itself is permissible as its a topic that's open to public debate. Obviously all posts MUST comply with the code of conduct rules and no prohibited links will be allowed, so please report any off topic posts immediately should they occur. Members will often spam a thread due to the nature of specific posts rather than the general subject matter, but if spammed and reported we can investigate further (you can use the report link from any thread to send us a message as long as we know who posted the thread and the nature of the topic we can still track it to review).

** Update - whilst reviewing back over your spammed posts you do appear to be reposting multiple similar threads which is another reason members may be spamming later ones as duplicates. Please report a thread for review rather than keep reposting it. Your first thread appeared to link to a specific forum only registered in August - it would perhaps be better to start a debate rather than promote a specific forum - members may have possibly considered that you had a connection to that new forum and it was a form of self promotion etc.
