Start Date/End Date Field
I just submitted a deal and accidentally put in start/end dates from the past, which automatically expired the deal I made. This shouldn't be possible as not only is it pointless, but could possibly be exploited to some extent by automatically expiring a deal after the poster has voted on it, giving themselves heat for the deal.
Not a major problem, just an annoyance when accidentally mis-clicking. The ability to post deals from the past should be removed in my opinion

I find it a useful feature; even if this is not by design, but happenstance.
You are right that there should be some validation during the submission (creation) of a "Deal" (or "Competition", "Freebies", "Voucher", &/or "For Sale / Trade") thread so that a Moderator does not need to intervene to reinstate a thread accidentally "expired" in this manner.
