Thats the 'old' old version, I wanted the previous version to the one they have just released, I had it up until around 15 minutes ago when I cleaned my browser.

You know the big arrow is not on any of the pages, I presume :)

Which web browser & operating system/handheld device model are you using?

That is what this thread has been discussing; the "New Front End" (new responsive) design has been forced on tablet devices recently.

Have you tried any other browsers on your Android device? Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, & so on?

I've just changed to dolphin and am getting what I was looking for but I would prefer it on the android browser. I will use dolphin just now and hope someone comes up with a solution. Thanks for your help.

I have loaded HUKD.com "Standard" on each of the following browsers on my Android 4.4.2 "Smartphone":

* "Internet" version 1.5.28
* "Firefox" version 34.0.1
* "Chrome" version 39.0.2171.93
* "Opera" version 26.0.1656.87080

All show the site Forum summaries in "Full Details" layout as expected; i.e. using the "new skin" (not the September 2011 "old skin"), or the "NFE" (New Front End/new responsive) implementation.

Or you could try clearing your cookies, and seeing if that works. And then try the link again.

As posted in many other threads recently...

Options for your viewing pleasure & a[m|b]usement:

[ http://www.hotukdeals.com/nfecookietoggle ] (the "New Front End" or "new responsive HUKD pages")

[ http://www.hotukdeals.com?tsv=2011-09 ] ("old skin" just prior to it being changed in September 2011)

[ http://www.hotukdeals.com?tsv=latest ] or simply [ http://www.hotukdeals.com?tsv=0 ] (the "latest" pre-"NFE" design)

For mobile users:

Scroll to the bottom of the mobile site page & click 'Standard', or bookmark the full version of the site:

[ http://www.hotukdeals.com/?dforward=true ]

Then use one of the options above.

Can you try logging-out completely (still with "LastPass" disabled), & then log-in again before repeating?

Thank you.
#33
Nope still the same.

Nope still the same.

If you log-out of your profile at the site, clear all the site domain cookies (or all the stored cookie cache for your browser), clear all the browser's cache (just for the sake of it), close the browser, re-open it, then visit [ http://www.hotukdeals.com?tsv=2011-09 ] as the very first page/tab loaded, then the "old skin" should be seen.

If that is not the case, then something else installed on your machine is interfering with your web browser's cookie management.

As a suggestion, try downloading a different browser & using a completely fresh installation of a new product.

Again, if you do not see the "old skin" (as shown below in Opera for Windows 26.0, that I installed for the very first time on my PC this morning), then something else is affecting your web page viewing experience.

Yes its crap cleaner, well that's annoying me now ive previously cleaned everything and still got the same new design then after about the 4th attempt it worked and the old design came up then after 4 hours the site refreshed back to the new design, (which means id have to close all tabs/browsers then run a cleaner then start everything again just to get the old skin back for some hours, not impressed.

"Crap Cleaner" is just clearing your web browser's (client side) cookies for the HotUKDeals.com domain.

There are a few links around the site that force one "skin" or another upon you &, in doing so, reset the associated cookie value so that the "skin" remains thereafter... until the cookie is deleted, changed manually, or you click the appropriate link from the list above to rectify the situation.

A previous discussion about use of a "Cookie Manager" (browser add-on) may be found at the link below, for your convenience:

[ http://www.hotukdeals.com/feedback/old-layout-http-www-hotukdeals-com-tsv-2011-09-2062557?p=23495647 ]

Many other comments/threads/discussions &/or add-ons exist!

Some allow you to store one/more cookies at a given point so their state may be restored later (without the need to delete & reinstate normally; or using "Crap Cleaner" or any other utility of this nature).

Some allow you to "lock" any changes so that the state of a Cookie is static.

Others allow you to edit the expiry date of one/more cookies so that they effectively "never expire" & remain the same for as long as you require them to be in that state.
