It is a bit random, I have some excellent feedback for items I've never even sold lmao. But try and find the actual item your trying to leave it for....Forget about it, I'm sure if somebody else leaves feedback first for an item bought in the same thread asthe one you bought from it disappears from the list.
#2
In all the threads I bought something for, there was only 1 item for sale, the one I bought

Type in the first few letters of the thread title that you are looking for. It should narrow it down for you to choose the right one.

The current system suck great big monkey balls

Was there really any need for this?

YUp system sucks, because unless the person leaving FB actually says what its for it leaves system open to abuse.
A person could sell a few cheap items overa space of time and get all postives.
Then go in for the kill with say a wii and 20 games for £400 but rip the buyer off.
Now myself personally would be wary of buying an item of high value if all the seller had sold up until then was cheap stuff but as you cant really check what the FB is for who knows

you didn't have to use the word in the tread title!. I find that offensive.

That is not really a problem with the feedback system.

There are guidelines to follow which are far more effective than Feedback. I don't even check the Feedback of the people I deal with.

Is it that hard to restrict the threads the feedback dropdown menu returns to just those posted in by the seller/buyer?

I believe it does something like that already? It's been a while since I've gone over it.

Ummm yes. That's nothing to do with the feedback system. You could also pay off all your loans on time and then default on the next one you take out. Past behaviour is never a guarantee of future but it's better than nothing.

I think so as it adequately describes the current system

Why is it any more offensive than stupid?
#10
You can leave feedback for anyone, for any thread in the drop down list...just choose any one if you can't find yours....you'll still get your positive feedback point...

Are you serious? You genuinely don't see the distinction between the words stupid and retarded?

I thought it was only threads you had posted or replied to. Or at least it used to be. I remember we had to change something because it was restricting to one per thread or something?

If you check your feedback, you will see I left you feedback for a thread on 02 Sims...I hadn't posted in the thread, but you had....
[admin]#14
Ah I see. So just the one of us has to post in a thread?

Thats what it appears to be....however, I don't know if you would be able to leave feedback for me for the same thread tho... :?

The feedback system doesn't seem to work AT ALL now - I just entered the sellers user name in the box, clicked search, and every time it takes me back to the "deals" home page. I don't get any drop-down menus or the thread that I'm looking for.... fat lot of good that is!

In the past leaving feedback was a bit clumsy, but at least it worked - I think they might as well scrap the feedback function altogether unless they can improve it, as at the moment it's just annoying.

What seller are you trying to leave feedback for please?

Hi Emma, I was trying to leave feedback for "glensymes" from this thread:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/247239/clearance-sale-lots-of-things-e-g-p/showthread.php?p=3037139&posted=1

starsparkle2311, you go to: http://www.hotukdeals.com/forum-feedback

Then you enter the persons username and click 'search' - you should theoretically get a drop-down menu to choose the deal that took place, however it doesn't work for me.

OK. I'm searching to glensymes, to get here. What happens when you click "add feedback" ? It seems ok from here.

Hi Emma, that worked perfectly thanks, however I still can't figure out how you managed to get the "add feedback" button to appear. It never appears for me, and the URL I was using is exactly the same as the one you posted - very strange... maybe it's cos you've got mad skills :-D

I still can't help but think it should be easier to leave feedback on here

hahaha Hi Hexen, it's you i was gonna leave it to, so if i don't it's 'cos i couldn't work it out, ok? Thanx

No probs, doesn't look like I'll be able to leave you feedback either unless Emma is kind enough to help me out, LOL - unfortunately it still bounces me back to the "deals" homepage when I enter your name and click the Search button

Looks like I've found a simple way of adding feedback. Sorry if this is posted in the official guide somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Here's what I did for anyone unsure:

1. Find a post (any post) by the person that you want to leave feedback for and click the "View FS/FT Feedback" link that is under their username.

2. You should see a little "Add Feedback" button. Click it and a drop-down menu will appear. From the drop-down menu, choose the correct thread that you purchased/sold your item in.

3. Underneath the drop-down menu, click the little button for Negative, Positive or Neutral feedback that you want to leave (it's on Positive by default). Enter a comment in the small box and click the "Submit Feedback" button.

I've just done this for starsparkle2311 and it worked fine

Not sure what you mean by the simple way... that's the only way, as far as I know ?

This is the only way to add feedback...
