Or you could answer the questions yourself since you are the one selling?
[mod]#2
It's a good rule to have imo.

You only want to deal with one person and it also avoids bumping by proxy. :)
#3
it was confusing though you were selling a bulk of dvds but your oh said if they dont sell to contact her to buy individualy
[helper]#4
I see everyones point but she was only helping as it was for to buy baby stuff, if she had only got a message from one of the mods FIRST with a warning then she would have stopped and realised what she/we were doing

but she got an automatic ban and the thread was locked (and she is only new to here)....which i thot was a bit OTT and a bit trigger happy from aScottishBloke

and....to say at the end "You have a week to think things over"..... that sounds like my bloomin Dad giving me a ticking off when i was a lad !
[mod]#5
Unfortnately mate they do say when a 2nd account at home signs up that only one person can participate in the FS/FT forum
#6
When you have a second account arent you told that only one can use the fs/ft boards? sure i read that somewhere

yeah im with the OP on this one, ive had it where my brother tried helping me out on a FS thread who lives about 275miles from me, then this brought up a previous incident where my girlfriend who doesnt live with me (although sneaky) asked a question (free bump really) but because i then logged in at the same place nearly a month later got slapped for that too.

But don't you see that as being unfair to others who use the FS/FT who stick by the rules and end up with their threads bumped down again etc?

Not critiscing but just like to think it's fair for all. :)
[helper]#9
Ach just leave it folks, i cant be a***** with this anymore

Unluckly, saxo appeal,

I agree to an extent...you know like i admitted the one with my girlfriend was "sneaky" but we werent on the same IP, and the one with my brother where i had no idea (i didnt even know it was him to start with)!

Nope, dont matter!

Maybe a private message to her as a warning first......might have been a nicer way to explain
but you live and learn

I'm sorry saxo i know this isnt going to go down well but i agree with this rule, it is there for good reason
Just noticed she was banned, im assuming they think she is an alias account, as banning someone for that is extreme
[helper]#14
lol its ok sassie, thanks

im stepping off my box now, had my rant and all that :)

i would contact scotish bloke and discuss this with him, ive seen many a brother/partner/spouse etc,etc suspended and told only one can deal on the boards, but never seen them banned for it

saxo-appeal,

Rules and procedures in place to deal with the scenario you have described. They have to be adhered to.

There is an established contact procedure if you wish to discuss this further.
