I'm suffering incredibly slow loading times - including when just typing with a large delay between typing and appearing on the screeen. Not had any error messages or time outs tho as yet.
#2
Very slow today.I'm using IE8 and XP operating system.

Hi jb, yes still very laggy for me, script error messages too, im using ie8 and windows 7, but apart from that the site has improved a lot the last day or so !

Error message is :- stop running this script
A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly,
if continues your computer might become unresponsive .

dont know whether its cause ive changed to 60 posts per page earlier ?

Yes still very lagging for me and logs me out even though cleared cookies down repeatedly, and ticked remember me, IE8 and Vista, also still cannot leave feedback as it brings up a message saying site incompatibilty with IE and refreshes the page
#5
Using IE,
Being logged out.
Taking 5 or 6 seconds to refresh or move around the site on any of the tabs.
When typing a reply like now, the text lags behind for a few seconds and then catches up eventually.

Not had any actual errors just really slow generally.

I6 its very slow and formatting all over the shop.

Will it actually be fixed for IE6 seeing as its an old broswer??
#7
Using IE8. Very slow loading pages and being able to cursor down a page. Catches up after about 6 - 7 seconds. No other errors but frustratingly slow unfortunately.
#8
Still quite slow on ie7, voting change and typing and seeing text immediately is fine though.

When entering a thread with over 200 or so comments and having posts per page selected as 40 or 60, the site becomes very slow and an error message pops up saying something like, "the script you are running is causing problems, if you continue to run this script performance will be poor...would you like to stop running this script"

#18
I have IE6 and working on 1024* 768 resolution screen display (Windows 2000). Site is loading very slow, my curson hangs whenever I click on any link. Previously I had no issues, browsing was fast and page used to load very quickly. One more issue occured i.e. display width has suddenly increased and I have to scroll L-R to read whole page :(
While browing on iPad also, I have slow loading and automatic logout issues.
#19

touch wood, since I changed my browser from IE8 to Google Chrome I've had no problems at all.
#28
This is the only thing that is really REALLY bothering me !!! Its sooooooooooooooo slow every time I click on a page. I am using Vista IE8
#29
Windows Vista
IE 7

Site extremely slow loading, am tending to go to another tab and view other websites each time i click any link. Also find scrolling down the page is juddery.
Also not keen on when clicking a deal it starts with the 2nd post in the thread at the top of the page where most deals tend to have more text than fits on the front page so you need to read the rest of it within the deal, meaning i have to scroll up evertime i want to view one.
Typing this is also pretty sluggish.
No error messages tho.
#30
I use VISTA OS and Mozilla browser.
When ever I am trying ot submit a 'Hot deal' and submit the link to the offer, it is taking ages to accept the link. I cannot go ahead to add the deal.
I think some thing is wrong here.
#31
IE8 and Vista- pages very slow to load and also time delay when typing
#32
IE8 and Win 7 64 bit version. No errors just very slow loading times. Brings IE to its knees on all open tabs for about 6 seconds when you click a link or move pages.
#33
I get this error when I subscribe to a thread too:
{ "result":"error", "messages": ERROR_NO_WIDGET_TYPE_SELECTED }
Also can't leave feedback, I get a problem with the website has caused IE to use compatibility mode.
The pages take about 20-30 secs to load up and I get a major lag when typing - usually at least half a line of typing before it fills catches up, but then gets left behind again.
Using IE8 and Windows Vista

For all of you using internet explorer, I have released an update that should give you a pretty big improvement over yesterday. We are still working to make it as fast as we can, especially for those of you using older versions of internet explorer.
