Excellent suggestions. Nice to see someone offering a solution to the problem, rather than just moaning about it. I agree with you 100% on all of the above.

They've got bigger fish to fry at the moment.
The clothes sellers probably think video games listings knock their listings down to the second page & beyond too.

Selling anywhere is not only a case of finding the right market, or the right price for the right market, but also the right timing for the right price in the right market.

I would suggest you don't use up one of your 'bumps' at a time when clothes sellers are typically online.

Go to bed later one evening or get up earlier one morning & make your listing the first one everybody sees when they log-on.

Don't 'bump' between 11:30am & 2:30pm; wait until 3pm & get the afternoon traffic or those logging-in when they get home from work/school/shopping/etc. instead.

If there is a football match on the TV, 'bump' five minutes before the end of play, & so on.

I avoid the FO.LK site because I find the colour scheme terrible (for my vision). It is also unfriendly to an office environment & I also think the layout could be better.

I also have not listed anything for sale for a while, but I do regularly look at the "For Sale / Trade" listings with a view to buying, or simply just checking on the prices that items sell for so that I know what to pitch my similar items at when I do list them. It also provides me with some insight into when is the best time of day/week to list items for maximum viewing.

Another site I visit (that I know you are a member of too, Adam), allows a 'bump' after a minimum of 12 hours have elapsed since the last 'bump' (with no maximum limit imposed).

That, to me, sounds like a fairer system.

Some sound advice there Fanpages. (Won't quote as the quoting system is now practically unusable, which is a shame.) I agree about the clothes sellers complaining about the Video game sellers for example, I think the current system has far outgrown it's use and did really think the developers would of took note of this, as at the end of the day FS/FT brings a lot of people in to potentially use the other systems available and revenue platforms for HUKD.

Onto the Bump system mentioned on another forum, this could be simply integrated into this system but would have little or no effect on being effective, as 12 hours would simply mean that people would bump once a day, due to the scale of time in between, the only way for this to work is the mention categorization of the forum. This would need a major re-development if done the correct and effect way for sellers and buyers, I would love to know whether this has been considered at all and if it has why isn't it being implemented.
almost all the fs/ft section problems could be solved quite easily, why nothing is ever done is beyond me, as it must cause more work for the mods than everything else put together.

Very True.
