Just posted my first deal on hotukdeals and had it removed by emmajk42.
She told me that because it was an ebay seller it couldn't be posted here.
I pointed out that my supplied link wasn't anything to do with ebay in the slightest (it wasn't an ebay store nor did the website even have any links to ebay or even mention ebay).
emmajk42 replied then telling me that because the site also happens to have an ebay account (who doesnt'?!) and occassionally sells on ebay that they are actually an ebay based seller and the rules stipulate that ebay based sellers cannot be posted here.
That's fine, but the link was not for an ebay based seller. It was for an indepent site that had nothing to do with ebay as it is. it was a standalone website.
Now, I can only assume emmajk42 got confused maybe with ebay stores so i asked her to point me in the direction of the rules that defines an "ebay based seller".
The thing is, I've come across many sites that also sell on ebay from time-to-time, independantly from their site. Heck, last time i was looking through DVDs on ebay I saw Play.com selling dvds there! Now by emmajk42 reckoning they are now an "ebay based seller" which cannot be posted here.
So far, emmajk42 has yet to reply to me with any link to the rules that confirm her own personal view on what an "ebay based seller" actually is.
What are your thoughts?
