Well that was easy. :)

Do you have it set to exclude expired?

OP managed to find the thread after my link - didn't have time to make any suggestions to the new member regarding search settings - just as well, no sign of gratitude from OP :w00t:

My apologies for the tardy reply, I didn't intend to not thank you for the link.

I was searching for the thread previously by using the part number of VS2GB667D2 but that stopped working, probably when the thread was expired I suspect. I was unable to find it by any other search. For example, I tried Advanced Search and typed play.com in the merchant field and pressed enter and found that that is broken and returns hits from all merchants, then I tried selecting play.com from the dropdown list of merchants that's populated by typing play.com in the merchant field and picked to sort by original posting date. That deal is missing from the list - it jumps from 1 week 4 days ago to 2 weeks ago and doesn't list that one. . Having followed your link to it, and found that the thread was still on the site, I've now found that the only way I can find it is to change my preferences to list everything from play.com and then it appears on page 8.

Have you got the settings up top set to "exclude expired"? If so, just click "include expired". That may be the issue you are having.

I did a quick search using 'VS2GB667D2' and it only brought up this thread, however going into advanced search and entering in the same criteria in the "Search By Keyword' field, then changing the drop down box to show 'Search Entire Posts' returns both threads.

Remember to select the "Search now" button rather than the search button which is on the page footer.

Plenty of other search criteria to consider - such as "find posts from' to limit the results returned.

Hope this helps.
