Number of bargains outweigh any expired deals :)

Often people leave feedback abour ordered items even though the deal may've expired, hence its good to expire deals & leave them rather than moving away.

I've just never seen so many. More members these days I suppose

Maybe an option to filter them out if you're only looking for new deals? Or the expired ones appear in grey and non-expired in red so it's easy to see the difference?

That's what the front page does.... well not the colour thing. :)

But only once they've hit a certain heat rating? Many of the great deals have sold out by that point so you risk losing out! Also what to some people is a cold deal to other is a hot deal so if there's an "only warm" or "cold" deal that you like you'll never get to see it.

Well there is a link at the top of the page : (Click here to see all unrated deals)

That shows everything in graphical format (apart from expired deals) regardless of heat.

Back to the original point though, no removing expired posts would be counter productive. It's good to have a database of what things have been sold for in the past. For example HMV etc often offer the same deals every few months, so having a reference price you can decide to wait till it rolls round again.
