Good point. "Home" would take up a lot of real estate in the topics bar. Best to let deals clutter up wrong categories.

Haha... I'm surprised home has gone without any indication of where you are meant to put deals now. I posted a pan set yesterday... same would apply with that.

Well I guess your pan deal might go in Groceries since you're cooking said food. Garden deals would go in travel since being outdoors means travelling away from me computer. Appliances in the future will be getting more intelligent with wifi connections to let your know your toast is ready so that's computers and DIY falls under entertainment since the neighbours all have a laugh at us bitching and arguing when we attempt DIY.

Probably the retailers/advertisers who's campaigns disappear in a sea of better deals from competitors :D

The idea with the topics is to separate out the main areas which we have interested groups already posting around. The old Home topic was not used much and not followed much either so it didn't seem as important as introducing Gaming.
And no I don't believe in continually adding adding adding things without dropping the ones that aren't relatively used :)
We may add it back in yet if we change the way navigation works and can support more topics.

Doesn't make no sense at all to get rid of a section that is being used (even if it is less than others) because I'm sure now they are going to be all over the place only wasting time for those that are relevant to those looking for that subject topic, making all the other topics less effective.

so just where are Washing machines, dishwashers and cookers, diy etc etc now meant to go?
May shouldn't be an option with this one Home/Garden surely needs to be added where do I stick a lawn mower or a fridge?
How a travel section is more useful than a Home section is beyond me???
I might be missing the point here but you do realise that there is no "other" tab at the top of the page.
