Why cant people group together their fs items?
okay there is a seller with 59 active individual items for sale right now listed in the past few days....13 items of underwear and every single one listed individually so my 3 posts (which have 20-30 items between them) and everyone elses, are constantly being bumped down! its so annoying as effectively thats 177 bumps allowed whereas everyone else is only allowed 3!!!

is how a considerate user posts...shame everyone cannot be this way
Agreed, this is getting out of hand.
I go to the FS section just to see if there is anything of interest for me to buy but all I see is just clothes threads from the same users who have posted individual items on individual threads within 10 minutes.
There is a market for used clothing as highlighted by the interest shown to date, however I do appreciate the point that is being made and we'll continue to review this in order to try and make it a better experience for all.
There is an argument that these listings would not be frowned upon should they have contained other items, e.g. mobile phones, gaming consoles, etc.
They would have been closed and the member infracted for being an obvious trader. No-one has 100s of phones for sale at a time unless they are a trader. Same goes for clothes imho (unless they have quadruplets) :-D.
BTW... how many bumps are you allowed?
Jeez.. they are all like it!
.
its a common problem with a certain type of seller...
about 5 of those threads are over bumped.......
That is OTT!! So many items could be listed together.
As someone who sells a lot myself, I find it much easier to group items, easy to keep track of and more intrest because people reply asking Q's or wanting an item and it actually bumps it for you in a way, I think these 'single item sellers' would possibly get more intrest in a 'grouped' items thread..... or maybe not and I am talking utter crap :w00t:

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^
I blame the sun :w00t:
dcx, I think you are a bit of a arse most of the time, especially with your vigilante made up rules. However, in this case I'm going to agree with you.
Mods: It is clear the majority want this rule brought in. You should only be allowed one thread open at a time. Its very simple, and clearly better supported than the other rules you have brought in without even bothering to ask users.
Silly boy
No rule has been broken as yet,so doing that is out of order
All it will do is wind mods up and you will get a ban from FS/FT and/or your spam rights removed(quite correctly as well)..and lead to a further delay in the rule being changed..if you haven't got nothing constructive to add keep your neb out please

+1
ASB any update please or even an idea of the timescale for such changes ?
At a time when folk is being promoted fairly vigourosly reducing the amount threads users can post wouldn't look good and may in the short term reduce traffic. While allowing users to post 15 threads filled with used rags looks as if there are an abundance of users eventually people are going to get fed up of sifting through thread after thread of jumble sale tat and move away from the site.
Just take a look at the last couple of threads on the subject, more and more people are getting annoyed at this and while in the short term it may boost folks numbers by allowing unlimited threads people will stop using it preffering gumtree or av forums.
wow did you count the 600 - lol
the 600 showing means all threads, including those expired
^Still at least they haven't bumped their threads more than twice :roll::roll::roll::roll:

Its irrelevant - 15 is a total and complete **** take.

if you can't beat them, then join them, and that is the attitude of those joining in, it started with the odd member and now most follow, if it is acceptable for some then you cant blame others for following suit
I don't - I blame the mods for not implementing a well supported and common sense rule.
or just remove CLOTHING from your profile under CATEGORY.
No longer see any of this cheap tat any more but of course I dont see clothes deals anymore either. Not fussed about that as its normally pretty chav crap anyway.
