I've just had a 'discussion' with Cat about a very innocent post (my first) highlighting a really cracking fixed price, multiple auction on ebay.
Now, I understand that this place is not for promoting auctions (as they aren't bargains) nor is it the place to promote a 'one off' or 'used' Buy It Now sales.
What I am I left totally agog by is the ban on fixed price, multiple auctions from Ebay. In my bargain hunting days - I have found a lot from these sales. In fact what I was trying to post was an sale of 30 Dab Radios (£40 on amazon, £100 elsewhere) which some power seller was knocking out (refurbished) for £20 delivered.
*Note* I am not selling these but I had bought one!
That's the kind of deal I would like to read about here, much more so that 10% off a burger at McDonalds or the strange posts that send you off to a 'Sale' at some website that is just a spoof promotion with no real bargains.
It was put to me that it is harder to know if the deals are genuine on ebay, which I think is completely the opposite as there is this thing called feedback.
So... Who is with me in agreeing that the blanket ban is out of order?
