  The problem with your thread is that you do need to list what games you are wanting.
  There’s probably hundreds of games available for the Mega Drive / NES. And by you just saying “Im after any old games and consoles . let me know what you have and prices” means that this thread will be overbumped within no time at all and as a result locked.

  Just search on google for a list of every game ever released on whatever system and post the lot. That's what i'd do.....

  Im trying to kick start a collection, i understand rules are rules, but come on.....
  
  Ive made a request to buy a collection of megadrive/nes games, i could list games all day, surely that would in turn break teh rules or making countless threads requesting games

  As AndyWedge has pointed out, we do normally require a list of items that you wish to be offered. However as you're starting out with a blank collection, I think we can run with your current request.
  
  You should note that the rule also reduces threads being bumped with items for which you may have little or no interest in. Therefore we would expect you to manage this thread accordingly, no rejections based on games being unsuitable as each offer/rejection would be treated as a bump and you'd soon be over the 3 max.
