To be honest there is no excuse for not leaving feedback.

The mods here will remove feedback that is unwarranted (ie: you left neg feedback, so how do you like this..), unlike ebay.

People should not be allowed to post on the for sale board if they have failed to leave feedback for 5 or more items.

There is a thread on hukd for avoiding traders

I see they have removed it, this list was very handy to save people being scammed, dunno why they have taken it down.

There used to be, the mods closed it and removed it cos they were getting stick about it from some members.

This post is hopefully to show the mods that the thread was needed, and helped the FS/FT boards.

I for one would like it re-instated, as I think even in its most basic form it will help!

The trader list is still under review. Regarding Feedback, please leave realistic feedback as it will help other buyers & sellers in the FS/T Forum. If someone leaves inappropriate feedback you can report it to be reviewed & removed with an infraction issued if relevant, as vibeone has said. All Feedback must relate to a specific completed trade between the two parties & not be against a 'Freebie' item transaction. But if it is general name calling etc it can be reviewed by a MOD if reported.

I don't remember anyone giving them stick about having it or wanting it removed.

They asked for ideas and feedback..........they were given. Also some inconsistencies were pointed out and the next thing it was gone.

Nobody wanted it removed, I agree.

However it could be argued that some of the feedback was less than constructive and a veiled dig at the mods and what they are trying to do, and as a result of this it was pulled, pending further thoughts. It being pulled has not helped the FS/FT board IMHO, as it was at least a way of keeping a track on bad traders, seeing as people don't seem to leave feedback when they have a dodgy experience (as per the above link).

The mods do seem to be on a hiding to nothing with some members on here, and constantly get criticised. They can't seem to do anything right for some! I'm not pointing the finger at anyone in particular, just making an observation.

I realise this is a very customised version of vbulletin, but it should be so straight forward to stick it at the top of the for sale board.

The list was good.

I actually, personally, quite like this idea. Negative feedback SHOULD be left for traders who do not act appropriately on HUKD for this exact reason.

I think the method of being able to leave feedback needs to be made simpler before members start being penalised for not doing it.

I think feedback needs to be revewed by MODS before being allowed to be shown. Some of the feedback comments on here are well out of order and very abusive.

Very, very good point. I tend to leave it till i have a few to do just because it takes so long to find the original thread.
