I've not heard about that issue before, if you click your gift do you get a pop up?

This has been a bit of a disaster eh? Bit like ordering from Zavvi in general!

Codes rarely work properly (even one's they supply themselves in promo emails etc), and theres now a form of expiry date in the 1st Feb.

Please don't use Zavvi again HUKD - I'd rather win £1 off amazon than £2.50 off zavvi. They are useless.

Based on there poor delivery times and the countless threads and sob stories i've heard, haven't really heard anything from the hut. Suppose thats still in its infancy in comparision to Amazon.

Does this mean my code is now automatically invalid and I have to follow the steps detailed above, or is it possible that my code will work as it should? ie does it affect all the codes, or just some?

Mine isn't working, just emailed them too. I'm wanting to buy something with an offer on... hopefully they don't run out before they credit my account :-)

Yeah it's far from ideal, but they've had IT issues which couldn't have been foreseen.. anyway, hopefully everyone will get a reply soon and get their vouchers redeemed :)

Did they fix the issue from the giveaway before this where they took orders and then stock changed to out of stock and refunded money but not the vouchers?

Seems a bit off that the 2 times they've been used tfor giveaways they have had 'issues'. Amazon were a much safer option and more reliable :)

Wow jsut tried to use my code on the day you posted this, freaky. Anyway what exactly needs to be email to them, I jsut said I got the code on here, sent them the code and said theres a zavvi account associated with the email address used, is that okay?

Wow this thread is definitely convenient as I just tried to use the code and thought I was going to have to go through a long stage of contacting the mods and Zavvi!

I would recommend trying to mail them from a different address, still quoting the one registered with them. My initial email was immediately rejected as spam. My second one from a different address has not yet been rejected.


I tried from a different, private domain email and that got bounced back too. Guess I'll have to try in the morning.

Could they not just reinstate all valid outstanding voucher codes? They must have a list to know that they are valid and have not been used.......

I managed to finally get one through on a different email yesterday morning. Is it safe to assume that they will be dealing with the issue? I'm going away on the 24th and won't be back in time for the Feb 1st cutoff. Do we know if the credit will expire on this date, as I'd hate to lose out due to their error.

I had problems sending from a NTLworld account (rejected as spam) but went fine from a different ISP (exactly the same email!) so worth trying different accounts

My code worked but they cancelled the order stating no payment had been taken, what happens now, do I just lose the code ?

No, you're still entitled to your credit. Email them and ask.

I'm unsure how account credits are being reflected on individual accounts, I'll find out tomorrow for you.

Let me know if there are any other issues.

Bah... just tried my voucher and it's not working either - same happened with the last Zavvi voucher I had too :-(
