Hi, Just finished selling something on ebay and the buyer is asking to send the money via direct bank transfer instead of PayPal. He said he needs my name/account number/sort code in order to send me the money. Just wondering how safe this was? Any advice?

i called nationwide today to remortgage and the man said to call back tomorrow because the intrest rates are going to be lowered tomorrow morning for some of the fixed rate deals,and if you are already a nationwide customer then you will be waived the reservation fee of £599,

i have always been skeptical regarding all these BBC 'relief' programmes that are broadcast as they are generally comedy/rating shows and all the money is spent on payin for people that get free trips to africa and the following is just a small level fraud that is being committed.

I've just blocked my credit card cuz someone was trying to use it - thats all gone fine & egg are sending me out 2 new cards & I am not liable for the monies however the new cards will have diferent card numbers on them.
