Hi Scott,

Thanks for the post. I did a www.froogle.co.uk search. couldn't see it at that price.

The iPod is brand new - I've not even taken it out of the cellophane wrapper. I'm selling it as I also got an iPod Touch.

sorry it wasnt that they go for 160 on fookle.

iPod 160gb classic sells for £220 across the board. I too would like to see one at 153 delivered, brand new, i'll take ten at that price lol

I am not familiar with "fookle". For my benefit (and probably for the others subscribed to this thread), would you mind posting a direct link to the product at the price you mentioned?

Thank you.

PS. roars: Do you have any photos of the actual item for sale?

What is your eBay user name?

Does your asking price including postal costs? For example, Royal Mail Special Delivery.

An item of this value should be sent with some form of insured delivery so that compensation can be sought if the item is lost or damaged in transit.

I'll ask before somebody else does... as you have no trading feedback here at HotUKDeals, would you be prepared to send the item to the buyer first & receive payment upon successful receipt?

Thanks for your consideration.

BFN,

fp.

Just typed into google "160gb ipod" and this is one of the first hits on the shopping list

Thought these generally sold for approx £220 (current price at Tesco) - £170 for a brand new model sounds more than a fair price, good luck with sale :)

Thanks.

The "shopping list" items appear to be a set auctions where the reserve prices have not been met; unless I am missing something because a "set sale" item has already been sold.

If you were referring to an auction listing, then I do not think this is a fair comparison to the item being offered above.

Also, I try not to use such amateur-looking sites that use phrases like:

"Similair Auctions"

!?!

But thanks again for the link.

BFN,

fp.

hi, noticed these selling on auction for much less.
willing to offer £130 (inclusive of shipping)?
let me know!
#17
also would you be able to post some pics of the item in its cellophane or email me some pics? also roughly whereabouts is the item located in the uk? just noticed you don't have any feedback as per fanpages' cautious approach so feel i should mirror his approach as a newbie myself. would much appreciate the reassurance and info. thanks!

Thanks for the posts.

I would rather sell it on here rather than ebay. The iPod is still in the cellophane - I got it in a present but unfortunately went and bought one for myself when Argos were doing the iTouch on offer a while back. I have it in Inverness if anyone is close and wants to buy it.

My ebay user name is tartanhartan.

Thanks for your posts

Thanks... after some deliberation I am tending towards an iPhone instead now.

Good luck with your sale.

, as you are new to the FS/T Forum & have no existing feedback, as this is an expensive item could you possibly post a personal photograph of the item for sale with your user name & date displayed beside item in picture. Could you also provide any links to other sites where you may already have feedback if possible as well, thanks
(5) Please post images including a piece of paper with your user name and date next to the actual items for sale. This helps your sale or trade by showing the condition and also that you have the items in your possession. This is not a necessity but will go a long way to helping your sale and establishing validity. If you post an eBay image, we may pull the listing immediately to request further information.

You are right to be cautious. The cost of this item is not a trivial amount of money to lose.

If you have an eBay account yourself, ask roars to send you a message via their internal messaging system (so it ends up in your e-mail account that you registered with eBay).

This will at least prove that roars has access to the account where the feedback is claimed to be a record of past trading history.

(It could be an eBay account of a parent/guardian, sibling or other family member, friend or anyone else, of course)

But yes, a picture is worth a thousand words...

Locking this pending feedback from OP. OP can use report function to confirm this sale is valid and add a pic
