I am selling my beloved iPhone 3G

No marks, scratched, dents, nothing at all. Its as good as when it came out of the box. Its never been without screen protectors or case. Ignore the air bubble marks under the screen protector in the images. The screen is immaculate.

In this sale I will throw in 2 cases for it, one leather case by casemate (worth £40) and a blue gel case.

Includes lead, box and manual but no headphones.

Will throw in the charger and a portable charger (worth £30!!!)

here are some images of it

As you have no feedback then standard practice on this site is usually to seek to post first to users who have an existing good reputable feedback, like myself. Please feel free to check the previous users of my trades who will vouch for me, including MarzBarz.

As a rule of thumb, you will find it hard to sell a high value item on here to be paid first when you have no feedback.

I have no doubt at all that you are legit and quite rightly concerned about your item. This is the same for me with my cash. I would only pay the £240 once I received and inspected the item. Thanks :)

But how is that fair? Anybody could send an expensive item to anyone and the buyer could easily say they never received the item? Doesnt it. Atleast a buyer is covered via paypal. the seller isnt.
#20
When sending by special delivery , its literally guaranteed to get there.

Yes but then the buyer has it, what rights would the seller have??

thats why I'd expect any high value item to be sent special delivery.
#23
but where is the proof that youd still need to pay me once you see the item is as stated. Anybody could simply receive the phone and never pay me!!??

Thats where trust and feedback come in to play. The proof is this site and your listing. If I didnt pay you I'd get banned from trading on here and also the site.

Anyhoo, its entirely up to you. I've made the offer. What you should do is read the forum rules completely and make sure that you are happy with person that you want to sell your item to no matter what the conditions are. I will withdraw the offer as you are looking for the money up front first. Thanks for considering anyways and good luck with your sale. Cheers.

What arrangement is there with you then?
Surley trust from a buyer with high feedback is more than trust with a seller with 0 feedback!

When I 1st signed up to this site, I would always send 1st to people with high feedback so build my feedback up, I just dont understand how people with no feedback can expect people to send money to them 1st

Here are some contact details that you would exchange with buyer (if you are sending first for high value items)

"Do NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It’s in your best interest to check out these details yourself. The trading forums are the equivalent to a newspaper’s classified section, We cannot be held responsible nor can we vouch for any listings or sales/trades in this forum. Use your head, follow the guidelines, evaluate the risk and make your own decision.

Always follow the Trading Advice in full for agreed trades and prior to payment.

All buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that either party is genuine by providing and verifying the following via PM to each other:

* Landline telephone number – make a CALL to check out the area code and number are correct. Consider using the BT Directory or 192.com to verify.
* Name and address including postcode. Consider verifying via 192.com
* Valid e-mail address.
* If you’re using PayPal, check to see if the seller has eBay feedback. You can also make a small payment to and from each other to validate the PayPal e-mail address
* Only buy from Verified PayPal Members if possible

Do NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It’s in your best interest to check out these details yourself."

This is the best practice regardless of the feedback of the buyer or the seller. Do not let those high feedback members take advantage of you without any kind of contact details provided (Someone with high feedback refuse to deal with me when I ask to exchange contact information as above). You may post high value item to high feedback members but remember to exchange contact details with them. Feedback doesnt mean everything. Good luck!
