Have a working 17" crt screen and believe it is made by adi (or ade, will check down stairs later). it is 21" with frame(diagonal) will not post due to the risk and the weight of the item, its a cream colour/white. Iam located in plymouth, will get pictures later and post if your interested.

Hard to sell even at £15. Most people think £100 for 17" LCD with delivery with 12 months' guarantee... so the maths is:-

£100 for new LCD free delivery = worth £6 => £94 left
no 12 month warranty , deduct 15% => £80 left
secondhand item deduct 50% life used assumed = > £40 left
use more electricity , one year , deduct £10 => £30
secondhand value of LCD above the CRT in two years' time, worth at least £15 ==> £15

...so this is the reason to buy £100 LCD new rather than £15 CRT secondhand. Footprint is also smaller, the ADI screen is not flat screen, right? so the CRT realistically is worth less than £5 these days, I am afraid, hence the comment above that 17" CRTs is not worth a "penny". I gave away 3 CRTs this year for 0 pence, two of which were Sony Trinitron tube 17"!

And yet people cant stretch to that £100? thats right...... crt are rare to be flat screen as it is a big tube O.o, and i dont think they use more energy, and this isnt a bash thread..... its a sale thread. So glad i use better forums then this.
