19" Dell Value Monitor (Excellent Condition) £80.00

Hi,

I have a 19" Dell 'Value' LCD Monitor for sale. It's in excellent condition and I am looking at offers around £90 for it. I live in the Middlesbrough area so I could possibly do it for £75 if picked up in person.

The reason for the sale is that I have my own design business and the monitor is great but I need to multi-task with illustrator a lot of the time and need room to fit 2 A4 documents on screen at once.

The only downside is that I cannot sell the monitor YET it would have to be in a week or 2 from the 11 April to allow time for the new monitor (24") to come. I have a vostro 1700 laptop but it's untested as far as setting clients work up for print etc. Colour is very important!!!

Anyway feel free to make me an offer. I think this would come in handy for anyone who has just purchased a base unit of is looking for a cheap upgrade from a 17" monitor maybe.

Pics will follow.

*Just found some extra details! It's 19" Value Midnight Grey Flat Panel (E196FP TCO99)
- StevieA

*Changed price to £80.00 (open to offers)
- StevieA

*Price now £65.00 delivered via courier. New monitor from Dell will be here in the next week so I can send this out soon to someone. :)
- StevieA
Shipping/Payment:
Shipping will be included in price that we agree. Obviously free if picked up from Middlesbrough/Cleveland area.

I think you'll probably have to relist when it's actually available for sale. As far as I know, we are not allowed to list items that are not available for sale at the time of listing. Might be wrong on that though.

Hmmm Well I have ordered the 24" ultrasharp monitor today and they usually get them to me within a week at the moment.

I could let the monitor go I suppose. The Vostro 1700 should do the job for now. It's not so bad as I am taking a small break from projects at the moment.

If I need to relist though later then I can do that it's not a problem. I wouldn't expect payment until the day I ship the monitor to be honest. Just simply looking for an 'agreement' if you like.

Tell you what. that's a good thinking. You could sell your used one for around £90 and then put £4 more and maybe get this one:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/167989/19-lg-monitor-8000-1-contrast-wides
This is also widescreen. You didn't mention if yours was and I don't think the Value panels were.. So here you go..Nice thinking there. Good luck with the £90 sale..

P.S. maybe you guessed you'd have to rethink your price or throw it on fleabay..and that would take about a week to sale. Exactly what you wanted isn't it. Hope it helps

That makes sense. Btw, I'm not in the market for this. Like you, I need double A4 screens. Good luck with the sale

I have ordered the 24" dell ultrasharp today for £430.00 but thanks for the tip on the lg-monitor!

No the Value panels are not widescreen. £90 isn't the final price just an opening price, I know what this place is like with offers! :-D

yup.. just as I guessed..No widescreen. Think you'd be looking at £60 top..

The latest version of this model is £159.00 excluding VAT and shipping on the Dell website (186.00 including VAT and shipping). It's literally 6 months old at the most so I don't think £80.00 is a ridiculous price. Open to offers as I say..

I have looked into it and they go for £80 - 90.00 + delivery of course on eBay so I have brought the price down to £80.00 and open to offers on it. Hopefully someone will find a use for it. If not I will keep it as a spare I suppose..

Sorry if I sounded harsh. Just trying to bring you down to earth. if you want more than the £60 mark you'd have to go on ebay. I doubt it'll ever reach the £80 you're talking about but you can only try. You must face it. Who buys a non-widescreen monitor nowadays when you can buy a really good widescreen with only £90? I know youknow I'm right. But as I said, Good luck with your sale. All the best.

No problem mate. You can get a 19" Dell widescreen yes but you would be looking at £130 + delivery at least. I know what you are saying but it's not an LG monitor it's a Dell. Most people on HotdealsUK buy dells so I thought I would try here first.

The price I am asking for is not final. I know from past experiences that you receive offers £10 or £20.00 below your asking price so if I ask for £60.00 I might get £40.00. Also you have to remember that delivery is included in the price. If it got to £60.00 including delivery I would keep it to be honest.

Appreciate your advice though mate.

I can have pics up if their is some interest in the monitor. I am using it now so that wouldn't be a problem. The warranty will be good until around July 2009. Obviously I would have to have the warranty swapped over if possible but never had a problem with it.

Hi Mate,

That wouldn't be a problem and sounds like a good deal for us both. Can you wait a week until the other monitor arrives and then you can pop round and have a look at it and I can show you it working. Hehe it must work because I am on it now!
#17
Hi, i will offer the £65 for it.

Sorry mate I pretty much agreed to sell to the other bidder so can't really go back on it and would be about the same with courier. I will let you know if the deal falls through because I know you need a monitor asap.

Can you show me some eBay feedback first as you are a new user. It doesn't matter so much because you are picking the monitor up but it's nice to be sure you know.

My 24" Ultrasharp will be coming around the 24th so if you can wait until then that would be great. It's only next week afterall. Cash is fine and I will give you my details so you know where to go when the time comes.

If that's OK then I am happy to do it for £50.00 cash it's easier for us both that way. :)

No problem I will keep you updated.

You never know you might get something similar. It might be worth you spending £90-100 as you can get some crackers now for that price. Maybe not Dell but you could get a Samsung or Sony, again maybe a year old or so but I am sure you would get something.

Ive got a nice 19inch widescreen for the main PC downstairs.

Thanks for the details. I have given you my details too. As you can see I have 100% positive feedback.

Not sure where I stand with the warranty as the whole system is covered. What we could do is if we have any problems you could just bring it back and I could have dell fix or replace it and you can pick it up. The cover runs out around July 2009 so you would have a safety net if you like.

Might be able to transfer the warranty for you but not too sure. Either way you are covered for over a year mate.

Ahhh I see what you mean now. Will keep you informed but probably worth asking again on here and paying slightly more, you might just get a good brand that way and maybe get something that will last 2-3 years.

Steve (ssrout) picked up the monitor in person at 17.00 today so the deal is done and dusted.

Once ssrout has confirmed this then a mod can go ahead and close this topic as the item has been sold.

Thanks.
