This phone is an un-wanted christmas present as i would much rather stick to my Blackberry & Apple iPad.

The iPhone 4 is the 16Gb Black Model. The iPhone is in Brand New condition with no scratches what so ever. Its still has the screen protecter still in place. The iPhone has seen little to no use what so ever. It comes with all of the original accessories (Wall Charger, USB & Headphones); The headphones have never been used. It also comes with a 'Bumper' which will essentially help protect the phone. It comes with Apple warranty as all new iPhones' do. I'm looking for a quick sale since i dont have the time to be messing around.

Here's 5 Pictures I taken;

Asking for atleast £360.

I'm new to online sale's to be honest however i am genuine, 2 members of my family do work for successful Police constabularys so i can be trusted to post the phone. If you still in two mind's collect it i really dont mind, But im only 19 and waiting to book my driving test so i can't really drive.

I'd be willing to give you any details you want from telephone numbers, to my address.

I live around 15 minuets from my nearest post office so if you choose to have it posted i would be able to proived you with a tracking number almost instantly.

Willing to accept Bank Transfer or Cash on Collection only.

I don't really trust PayPal.

Any Questions feel free to ask.

Wow your 19 and have a blackberry, iPhone 4 and an iPad and 2 of your long lost relatives are a tea boy and garage hand for a constabulary, by the way what makes it a successful constabulary do the catch a lot of criminals?
#5
I'm really looking for either the full amount before I post or the phone to be collect and paid for there and then.

I'm genuine and would preffer that.

I'd willingly accept your £350 offer if you could send the funds to my bank account before 12 so I can post it on my dinner break, otherwise you can willingly collect the phone anytime from 1PM too 3PM

U dont trust paypal? Why not? I've never had any problems with them and it's pretty much guaranteed by them.

The first and last time I used eBay I had a bad experience which went on for weeks on end and since then I've stayed well away from it.

I'm based in Alvaston in Derbyshire.

@Stiffnuts, why are you making comments of such in my thread?
#9
Where are you located ?

With no feedback, I am happy to go with half now and half on receipt only, that would be very fair to both parties
#12
hi can i come collect. £340 as you dont need to waste money on postage
#13
Sorry you posted before I refreshed lol

Not far then, 300 and I'm able to collect ... We could talk about the 5-2 drubbing you got last week lol

It was brought on PAYG on Orange

I haven't tried any other sim so I'm selling it on Orange.

Not to sure what you mean by handset history. But it's never been tampered or jailbroken. It's barley seen any use.
#15
any feedback regarding my offer?

What a coincidence !! Another one on Orange.

Also you setup this membership for only an hour or more. And you know how to post pictures, and you are aware of people might ask you to post first hence

Was that you raising in a game of poker when you only have a pair?
#20
okay £350 is fine. - we can move it to pm. Just a few things i want to know.

Did you get this as a Christmas gift. if so did it come with a contract?
Does anyone have any proof of purchase about this phone?
#21
Good to see you've web based forums before, yet still only reply to what you want!!! Typical sheepshhhhaaaaa lol
#22
It was a christmas gift, it's not on a contract. I've never been on contact and doubt I ever will.

I'm honestly not too sure as weirher someone has any proof of purchase, so I'm not going to say yes incase I can't get hold of it.

Willingly come and check it over, I'm sure you'll be pleased with it.
#23
k thats great..finally few more q. who bought it for you? - as if it was your parents they should be able to get a proof of purchase even if they lost it - all they have to do is go into an orange shop and they should be able to provide one.

And could i please check the imei to see if its registered under any insurance and to check the history of the phone. - you can PM me this.
#24
Very pleased ..... For a month when he finds it makes no calls Coz it's been blocked lol
#25
remember the rule.."if it is too good to be true.."

Also cash on collection is the best way for the phone to get blocked.

If you do cash on collection, make sure you tell the seller to write a receipt, and pick up at his address only

My main concern exactly, however with the IMEI i can cross check if its registered under any insurance. If not thats fine. Also with some sort of proof of purchase it will enable to me to register my own insurance.

So if at a later date the seller did claim via insurance it would not be valid as for you can only have one insurance on phone at a time.
#27
My parents did buy the phone but I'm not too sure if they do have proof of purchase.

I can't PM you it won't let me for some reason it says I need to be more active on the forum. But I can e-mail you the imei.

@ Ripper, why are you still commenting my thread I've clearly stated I was not interested in your offer. So just stop

I think regarding the insurance registered, it won't show on Checkmend report, only when it has been report, the record will be displayed.

Also if you are not the original owner of the phone (if this phone is on contract) the network would give you loads of hassle if you ever want to speak to them

tbh a hand written receipt will not mean anything.

Picking up from home, that adds a level of protection but still not that great.

I know if its too good to be true line, but i will only pay once iv got everything covered!

You are wrong about the hand written receipt. It does mean a lot regarding any legal stuff involved. Believe it or not is up to you.

Well, seen you are happy and eager to get your new shiny iphone 4, I won't comment anymore. But I am sure we don't want to see any thread like "I have been scammed by blah blah " on Misc section.

Yes GS but there are ways around it, just ask the poor sods on eBay lol

Seller said he might not have proof so bang goes that one too... make sure you not only get the sale in writing but also extra proof, like a pic or a second sig on a receipt.

Might be worth contacting apple too to see if it's revved with them yet !
#32
I do appreciate the feedback guys. Here to protect each other.

Im not really dazzled by getting a new iphone 4. iv already got a one, just if this is genuine then once iv checked over everything, they would be a good bargain. Yeah i will do. As you cant pm me and you need to give me confidential imei / serial numbers i will post my email . hope this is okay by mods.

You've not stated anything to me .... In fact that's your first reply to me so get off your horse and calm down, this is a public forum and if iveish to make a comment and help ensure the buyer Is not ripped off I will !!

if you can weed out his email from all the spam youve now been signed up to!

Woah, this is turning into a disaster. Why are you all so worrie about it being blocked or whatever. The phone has never ever been insured.

The only reason I'm selling it for so low is becuase I was only going to take it to CeX who offer £270. But I decided to try my luck online seeing as thier going for £350-400+
#36
Leighton - people sell these then report them stolen/lost, then they get a nice new one and the cash whilst the buy has a brick.

Now no one us saying you will etc but you gave no eBay feedback, no feedback on here and have only just joined. We get posts on here day after day about being scammed, as a community all we(the regular users) want to do us ensure this does not happen

try your luck? you could still get £425 on here for a 2 week old iphone 4 lol, with that being considered it raises eyebrows.

Can you add your ebay ID to the thread, this may offer some sort of assurances to potential buyers.

In the meantime, buyers and sellers should review the link below.

oh and give you excellent feedback to help you with future sales!

Would you be intrested in part exchange with iphone 3gs 16gb?
