I'm selling my car as I'm going to Thailand next week for 3 months and need to raise as much money as possible!

There is only one previous owner who serviced the car every year up until 2009 when I bought it. Since buying it I have had no troubles with the car and it runs fine. A test drive can be arranged.

Car is based in Hornchurch, Essex.

So not serviced for 3 years if I read that right? How much is the tax?

Not officially serviced for two years, but my stepdad is a mechanic who has basically given me a free service when I've needed it. Just had it MOT'd and everything is fine.

Tax is £90 for 6 months, £165 for 12 months.

big price drop, probably will be locked as you have two for the same car.

The milage and lack of servicing is enough to put me off.

How much would the insurance be for a 17 year olds first car?

I initially priced it way too high, hence the big price drop. As for the lack of servicing, what lack of servicing? It was serviced at a garage every year until 2009, since then it's been serviced by my stepdad who is a mechanic.

Also, yes, it is a lot of mileage, but I cannot stress enough that I've never had any problems with it and it runs absolutely fine!

I honestly can't answer that questions as there are too many variables. Try getting a quote on confused.com but bear in mind that car insurance has risen over 40% in the last year so expect it to be quite pricey, especially for a 17 year old, as it would be for any car!

As mentioned in my post, you're more than welcome to come and view the car, inspect it, take it for a test drive. I'm confident you won't find any faults with it and at the end of the day you won't find one of these cars any cheaper.

Please bear in mind though that if you're interested, I need it sold by this time next week (Monday 13th June) as I'm leaving on the 14th.
