Thread reported for obvious reasons
#3
Following on from the question in the last thread, are you willing to post first to reputable members?

Presumably the guy who contacted him via PM.
#4
No i closed the original thread due to someone i knew locally saying they would buy it, ill post pictures in a mo just sorting stuff out, why has this one been closed and reported?

Thread has been reopened, if anyones interested ill post some pictures any other info let me know

Where was this sourced from? Seems a bit of an expensive piece of kit to have only been powered on once before sale. Would you post first to a buyer with previous positive feedback?
#9
When i got it i knew i was going to sell it, i wanted to sell it never powered on in box but i thought i should check everything through, it was a joint purchase through my uni and a company i work with.
It's just too big but i just cant afford to keep it and being through my uni i can only get store credit through their supplier which i dont really want.
How would me sending first work? I dont want to be scammed for such a big thing, i will do cash on collection so you can see it in working order before taking it away in the box? Or i can send it via courier.
#10
Why did you get it in the knowledge you were going to sell it? I presume it comes with proof of purchase, etc?

OP,

Please do send us proof of purchase, this will also assist in cases of warranty claims. You may of course cover up any personal details.

Report your thread when ready.

As i was saying i got it cheaper, i put a percentage towards to it as did my employer, but i got it as an investment more than anything as i have a 2010 macbook pro which i will mainly use, it seems silly having both. I hope the receipt and the earlier picture prove its legitimacy, now thats sorted is anyone actually interested or not? I'll Put it on ebay if not.
#14
I'd say ebay is your best bet if you're not willing to come down on price. A lot of mac buyers here will either know someone who can order via education store for them, or just take the risk and do it themselves. This machine in the education store is £1230, AND it comes with 3 years hardware and parts warranty for free, so i doubt you'll get much interest at your current price.

(side note: does anyone actually know what happens if apple catch you ordering from HE store and you're not in HE?)
#15
Alright well ill leave it on here for 24 hours and if anyone wants to make an offer they can.
#16
Anyone? Will consider offers.
#17
Why has this been expired again? Ive proved its legit and have said im willing to come down on price.
#18
Have now knocked down £70 on original asking price.
#19
Read the rules, You have used so much free bumps, this thread should get locked
#20
I've seen less bumps on an Octogenerian getting his or her birthday bumps. With lots of camels standing around idly.
