Hi all.....
I want to upgrade the ram of my Asus Eee PC, to see if it speeds it up a little when opening applications. I have the PC 701 with 4gb hard drive.
The best I can find is about £33.00, anyone know of cheaper by any chance please ?

Hi,
I'm not really techy, and I'm sure someone will be along soon to correct me if I'm wrong but this seemed to fit the bill for me (already mentioned by another poster today) I've ordered some, - I figure that at this price, if it doesn't work I'll probably make my outlay back if I stick it on fleabay :-)

What OS are you using? The default Xandros will only recognise 1GB although a hack is available if you feel like trying it.

This wiki gives some hints on tweaking the system.

Do you use in simple mode or full if on the default mode?

Hi ya, thanks for the link, I'll be having a good read on there.
I have literally opened the box and started using it, have changed nothing as yet.
Was not even aware that a hack was needed to use a 2gb ram, so thanks for that and upon a quick read of the link I won't be attempting the hack, as I am far from a PC geek unfortunatley.
I'll just go ahead and get a 1gb ram for now and hope it speeds things up a little, as it seems like a lag on clicking on any of the applications.
Ta for now....
