Hi there folks! About 2 months ago i bought my little boys 2 rabbits and a fancy 2 tier hutch but i now realise i just dont have the time to look after them properly.

All in all iv spent £120 on the bits i have but im willing to take £50 collected for the lot aslong as there going to a good home!

Im based in mansfield near notts and you would need a van as the the hutch is big ^^

What sort or rabbits are they?
#9
Hi,

What sort of rabbits are they? are they friendly and like to be handeled? how old are they? Sorry for all the questions, i have been thinking about getting some for a few months for myself (just turned 31 year old man) lol

I had them before when i was a kid and know i cant get a dog as that would not be fair.

Thanks

chris

Iv had them since they were 8 weeks old and i bought them about 7 weeks ago. I run a small fruit and veg business so they have always had plenty of greens!

One is called Tiny, shes a black dwarf rabbit really cute! She likes being handled and stroked but does give the odd effectionate nip, especially at meal times :) The other is called rascal, hes a white rabbit with i think its called tabby cat colours? He's a bit shy, he came out of his shell when i handled him every day eating out of my hand and even running about the garden (he dosnt like to get back in the hutch though!).

They are now a little timid as i havnt had time to spend with them for about 3 weeks now, but they really are lovely rabbits and still come to the cage door for meal times etc

Your welcome to come and look at them first but the cage hasnt been cleaned for about 5 days :(

How much to post!??

That's the only problem, "I bought my kids a pet but I haven't got enough time to look after them!!" lol
#13

yummy. Used to eat it all the time when i was younger

Just spoke to my OH and she said i cant spend £50 on a rabbit :( If you can get a pic up then i can show her and try to break her concrete heart lol

I really would have liked them but she will not let me justify it, dam it cos i am in Beeston as well and have always liked having rabbit's until i moved up here to nottingham

Collect them within the next 24 hours and you can have it all for £30.
#17

Offering these for free now to anyone who can pick up soon!
#22
I will come and get them on Friday if that's suitable? Although I don't have a van I have a Zafira....just how big is the hutch?
#23
It wont fit in a Zafira >.>
#24
That's a shame, don't know anyone with a van, sorry.
#25
Same here, no van otherwise I would.

Just remember for now there still yours so don't forget to look after them. If you do get stuck there are always rescue centres but really, you should of thought about the responsibilities before buying a pet.
#26
Believe me i know! I changed them out on Monday and i keep feeding them dont worry! They just deserve to be out the hutch more and have more handling time than i can give them :)

If you can't get any joy here, it may be worth closing the thread and trying your local gumtree (if you have one). You quite often get people looking for rabbits on there.
#28
I find it hard to believe a double decker hutch wouldnt fit in a zafifa with the seats down. Worst casde you can put the rabbits in a cardboard box and lay the hutch on it's side.
#29
Its about 4ft long 2ft deep and 3ft high.... ish.
#30
They will be gone within 24 hours if you put it on gumtree.

Already have 2 rabbits and would have had them if I wasnt so far away! Come home every lunchtime from work to let them have a run in the garden. Great pets if you have the time for them.
#31
I would defo take these but only have an astra so doubht I could fit the hutch in :(
#32
Last chance then people!
#33
Just a quick thought, if anyone had a cordless drill they could take the hutch apart then it would easily fit into a car. It would be more work for you but it is an option!

Sorry cooper2085, but only 3 bumps are allowed in a FS/T (includes consecutive posts) - thread closed. :
(17) Continuous 'bumping' of threads to promote your sale without good reason, will result in closed threads and infractions. Please edit your last reply in the thread rather than 'bump' with a new one, this includes adding images directly under one of your own comments, bumping by proxy or discussion and to a maximum of THREE BUMPS in total.

* If you do want to give these away for free with local collection, we would allow a new thread in MISC but there must be no items included for sale - only 'free' giveways.
