In which case you need to list them and provide some links to show those kinds of prices. I've just looked through the entire list of completed items for these cards on ebay (full sets & collections/bulk) and nothing suggests prices anywhere near your asking. In fact, from what I can see, your collection is worth somewhere in the region of £25 unless you can provide some evidence to the contrary...

i have taken prices from the yugioh trading card book and posted the rarest cards in pics 1 and 2 so i guess its a guide more than actual value

Oh right - but does this trading card book reflect real market prices? Is it not like consulting the official Nintendo Magazine for a review of the latest Nintendo hardware? eBay reflects real market prices rather than what traders would like them to be. Can you point us to some actual sales that reflect your prices? I can point to loads of completed listings that suggest the going rate is about £5-£10 per average hundred cards including some rares, holos etc.

To be fair, I've just looked on ebay for the price of one of your rare cards - mezuki - and it does appear to be worth up to about £8 or £9. You might be better off selling the the best cards individually like this

EDIT: but the 4 or 5 others from your pics that I've checked command an average of about 99p each ...

it is hard to be fair and with so many cards i couldn't be bothered to list then all seperatly so just clumped them all together but for someone with the patiants there is money to be made from this collection

Sorry dude, not going to let you off that lightly. :) At your price there is certainly NOT money to made for someone unless you can give some evidence about pricing. In fact there is a hell of a lot of money to be lost I think. I've already done some of the work for you and found a valuable one - but only one! Aside from that and any others you can price based on actual recent completed sales, I reckon your bundle is worth approx £5 per hundred cards + any proven prices for few individual cards that can still command a decent sale price. Do that work and I might make a reasonable offer.

erm...pardon? 'lose out on money'? Boy, you got a lot to learn  This thread has been kept alive by my interest. It might have escaped your attention, but there has not been a single person interested in buying these apart from me!

OP, will get back to you later. Still one question first though. What are the names of the cards that you value at £40 and £20 in the OP. Apart from the one I mentioned, I can't seem to find anything of value. In which case, I'd be offering about £20 for the lot (minus that one if you like cause I'm not buying to sell).

:) I already have a monthly DD set up to Macmillan. I like the sentiment though. I'm guessing you or someone close to you has gone through some tough times for that, as pretty much the only people I know who think this way have. No need to answer that question, but I have too. As for the cards, maybe hang on then for a better offer here or do that local lad a favour. Tbh, my boy is after Pokemon cards and I'm probably being greedy thinking I should get these cards too. Only reason I was even considering it was that there a couple of Japanese ones hanging round his bedroom that he picked up on the last visit. Don't think they are 'special' to him though, just remind him of Japan.

fragaliciousbob, maybe give them to this guy and trust him to make donation? Seems like he could do with the test... :)
