4x 200Mbps Comtrend Powerline Adapters (ethernet networking over mains), however 1 is faulty.

1 pair is boxed with unused network lead in perfect working order. Other pair isn't boxed and 1 is faulty. It pairs up fine (either to it's pair or when all 4 are used together) but it doesn't recognise when there's a patch lead attached. I've been told it's a common fault and possibly an easy fix. When i was using them, I had 3 connected together.

I Bought these about a year ago when setting up my media centre/server/PC's throughout the house. However, I didn't use them long, moved the server and set most of the stuff up wirelessly. I went for the 200Mbps ones as i wanted to be able to stream HD.

Prefer to sell as a set as they're quite heavy and postage might be quite expensive, However I'm open to suggestions.
Shipping/Payment:
Payment via PPG or BT, Postage included in final price so won't move much due to weight

Interested as the wireless in the new place is weak on the 3F, and could resurrect an old BT vision box too. Up for any trades?
#3
if you get rid of the working pair & are left with the single one, id be interested.

got 2 at the mo but just one more.

Thanks - will do. I had a pair before but sold them on here more than a year ago. Have moved since and need them again, but haven't set up more than two before so might be dropping you a line :)

Arrived today, many thanks. Haven't tested them but presume they are as described so f/back is on the way. If you could let me know a bit more about the faulty one that'd be appreciated. You said:

I've only used these on the BT vision box to date and used patch leads on both sides. Is it possible to use the dodgy one without a patch lead in any way?

when u plug a patch lead in, the ethernet light comes on normally and shows activity (sending and receiving data) - however on the dodgy one it doesn't. it could just be a faulty port. however, it DOES connect to it's pair. i've factory reset them and when plugged in the status light goes green on both showing that they're connected to each other.

Thanks for that - understood. You can lock this up now if you want. Thanks again.
