I have a letter, which is a voucher for Nationwide Paintball worth £525.

It is a day out for up to 35 people on the Easy Play Package. Nationwide paintball has over 80 sites all over the country. For your nearest site please go to http://www.nationwidepaintball.co.uk.

Please be aware the voucher is valid for all sites Apart from Canary Wharf, Swindon and Cardiff (St Lythans).

Package includes:

Full Day's Paintball - 8 games

All equipment hire

Paintball Marker

Hopper

Full Instructions

Insurance

Lunch (subject to availability) worth £15 per person

You do need to pay a £10 Non-Attendance Deposit for each person but this will be returned to you on the day in the form of your first 100 paint pellets.

Voucher is valid until 30th September 2008 & must be booked on or prior to this date. You don't have to play before the expiry date, but you must book your game.

Voucher will go to best offer or first dibbs whichever amount is greater. I'm also open to trades.
Shipping/Payment:
P&P is included in the asking price.

If collection, then it's all free. I'm situated in Halesowen, West Midlands.
The asking price is essentially the P&P.

Paypal (as gift) only.

P.S. I'm new at this, let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

So this free?
#3
All I need is P&P fees, or if someone values this and wants to actually pay me for it.
#4
You must state a price - auctions (best offers) not allowed.

p.s. If your asking price is truly 50p then I will take it at asking! :-D

EDIT: That's a joke above - I don't really want this.
#5
count me in @ 50p aswell lol
#6
£10 per 100 paintballs is expenssssive.
#7
First offer goes to me at £70
#8
Interesting one, could actually use it, but Cardiff woulda been the local one haha
#9
Ah so you still have to pay £350 to Nationwide Paintball too.

Ouch!
#10
yeh £10 is expensive for paintballs, most places are £5 for the day then paintballs are £5/£6 for 100. I think it will still end up costing usual price as they will charge for the paintballs you use, and if its £10 per 100 over 8 games it will still end up about £50 a player!!! I played a 5 game paintball day the other week and used 400 pellets at £5 each. I might be reading it wrong but not sure
#11
Agreed - and I usually spend about £75 on that basis, so this could work out around £150 ish per head!!!

.
Are you joking about that too? I don't want to break the rules on my first go.

£10 per 100 paintballs is expenssssive.

I feel that the whole thing is expensive. You might save £525, but but you still might have to pay £350 as a deposit.

First offer goes to me at £70

Please be joking ;-), I'm just trying to do a test sale, so am putting something that I feel as worthless on sale.
#13
No you must state a price if you wish to sell it mate.
#14
No auctions allowed is serious. Dont know about the rest :)
#15
All he wants is P&P fees, he says it in the thread, which is 50pence as in his OP

Why are people not reading the full listing (OP)?

yes i think the OP is just giving it to someone who may find a use for it. But as he says it is pretty worthless, as for one you have to get 35 people to all be able to play on the same day, then spend £350 (£10 each player) as a deposit which you dont get back, only get paintballs, and then if they are charging £10 per 100 it will not end up being any cheaper whatsoever!! In my opinion anyone would be able to get this offer (not that it is much of one!!) simply by phoning/e-mailing the company....
#17
Thanks LFC.
50p is all I want, or you can just come and get it from my house.

If someone offers my more, am I allowed to accept that price, or do I have to stick to my own?
#18
You have to stick to your own.

I was asking if was free? So will I have to pay to use the facilities?

These vouchers are worthless.

You will end up spending +25 on the day anyways.

I have like 200 tickets for Surrey Paintball Centre, which it says its free but you have to give them a 12 non-refundable deposit for 200 balls and then per 100 balls it's 6 quid!

Everything is paid for in the voucher, except for the paintballs which is paid for from your deposit.
#27
how much are the paintballs? and whats the deposit?
#28
I think the cost of paintballs, is different depending on location.

The deposit is £10 per person attending, the deposit is returned as 100 paintballs per person, meaning initially £10 for 100 paintballs.
#29
you still have to buy paintballs and you will go through about 800
#30
If this is truly available for 50p I would like it.

I will use it for a works event I am planing :)
banned#31
just be aware that you have to pay £350 up front regardless of how many players you get to attend
#32
The 50p is simply for me to buy an envelope and stamp.

As I can't take offers as it's against the rules, I have to base the order on first-dibbs. If the three before you don't want it, then it's yours.

No, the max you pay is £350.
It's base on the number of attendence times £10. So 35 people at £10 is £350.
It will be returned to you in the form of 100 paintballs per person attended.

but isn't csiman still correct? £350 might be the max in some circumstances but it is also the minimum! You have to pay £350 upfront (£10 per person based on 35 people, whether they attend or not)

I am correct.

tickets clearly state

ALL PLAYERS MUST PAY A £10 NON ATTENDANCE FEE

The ticket is a '35 play' ticket.

Exactly. The OP is just confusing things by not seeing it this way. The minimum charge to the user is £350

Just out of curiosity who are the three? I thought the people who said yes were only joking?

Thanks

My understanding of the voucher is "upto" 35, players each having to pay £10, meaning you can have less people booked. The non-attendance fee, relates to no-shows on the day if they were orginally booked, thereby lossing their deposit.
csiman, you know this more than me, so if I only wanted to go myself, would I have to pay only £10 deposit as I am the only player attending, or £350 deposit which is the number of places available in the voucher?
