Purchased this when I found out I was having a girl (she is 5 now)
It is still NEW as she has never worn it
Selling as will not let her wear it as to worried she will lose it. lol!

Paid £350 for it over 5 years ago and with price of gold gone up I would think its worth more ?

I am not sure how much it is worth - would just like some money back for to put in her account and it as its a waste sitting in the drawer not being worn as its such a lovley piece

Is it solid or hollow?

You may want to weigh it and post how much it weighs

Hi, it is solid
I have weighed it on my digital kitchen scales they don't do points of grams but it is flicking between 9 and 10 grams so its 9.something
it is 5cm accross x 4cm wide - approx 5.5" around from ball to ball with approx 1" gap
thanks

Just a heads up but you are 'Miles' out with value.
If you were offered £100 for this I would snap their hand off

Just for reference if it was "24ct" gold you still would struggle to come anywhere near asking.

Assuming you have weighed it right at 10 grams ????

Newme - i have a couple of rings which are no way near what this looks like it weighs and they are 10g, so think scales might be wrong :)

would never sell it for £100!

my wrist is 5.75" and it fits me tight, if I don't sell it I will just keep it back and hope when she is older and more responsable it will fit her
thanks

Hi OP, I am sorry but the other advice is correct - 10g of 9ct gold is only worth about £80, see here but if it is a solid bracelet then I would expect it to weigh more.

Maybe you should go and get it valued, or try and use a different scales to weigh

Thanks But this is not scrap, Its a NEW Solid bracelet with CZ, I am going to take it to jewlers when pick children up and get them to weigh it.

I was just using my digital kitchen scales, I think gold weight is different / I have been told its troy oz or something like that?

Took it into 2 jewlers and it weighs 9.15

asked them if they sold anything like it and they looked through their books, 1 said they could do me 1 for £525 the other one said £480 - both local jewlers asked if they would buy it but they don't deal in used gold, they also both told me this is too good an item to be a scrap value and any good jewlers who buy items would offer me more than just scrap value (they also both gave me a price that I should not accept anything less if I sold it)

will be taking this into a bigger town tomorrow to see what they will give me for it - if no takers on here

I wasn't trying to be funny babe, was just trying to help as I know what these lot are like. I think a jewellers would probably be the best place to sell it, tbh - as on eBay, for example, it's hard for a buyer to know what they're getting.
It's a lovely bracelet, make sure you go to a good few different shops to get the best price. :)

anything I sell of my childrens the money goes into their accounts so I don't want her to loose out
thanks
