A dres for an indian wedding-size 12 or small 14

HI
I'm off to a wedding at the end of november and would like a new ( to me) dress. Had a look in debenhams today and saw a lovely long floaty debut dress (in the sale too down to £24), but its didn't sit right on me as i'm quite tall.
So i'm after your help, does anyone have a dress suitable for a wedding, something eveningy?.... i dunno.... Show me what you have.
Needs to be a 12 or small 14, and as i said i'm quite tall. Don't want anything really short (have to look respectable) would ideally like something really long......Help??!!

Thats meant to say dress in the title (its been a long day already!)

Oh thats really pretty. Would need some measurements to see whether it would fit. What the size around where the sash would go and also around the bust and waist (if you don't mind) and how much were you hoping for? I'm going to take another wander and window shop tomorrow, but if you could let me know the above that would be great. Thanks

no worries i will measure
i bought it for £25 when it was reduced from £50 but as i said i couldnt get into it so its just been sat in cupboard last couple of months,it would look lovely on if i could close the zip lol
would just like my money back so £25 delivered
will measure now

where the sash would go which is under the bust going to waist is 34"
around the bust is 36
do u want length?
#10
Don't need the length, so around the bust is 36" and under the sash and waist is 34"?
Gonna need to measure myself, and i only have a metal/builders tape, lol, this should be fun. Is it ok if i get back to you tomorrow about it?
edit: i've actually just measured and i'm not going to get my boobs into it i'm afraid, thats a very small 16. I think they've labelled it up wrong, it must be a 10.
Its so pretty tho, you should get it advertised on here, you should be able to recoup the money you spent. Its the right season coming up to get it sold.

yes its hard to see the detail as my camera is crap but where the sash would go (just under the bust) there is a panel 3 and a half inches wide then the dress flares out if u know what i mean
best way to do with builders tape would with a bit of string or something then measure it
yes let me know 2moro and if u dont want it i will list it on here,i will be on hols on sat but could post on thurs or fri
im sure i had an ivory sash for it too but would have to look for it,there are loops on either side of dress for the sash to sit in :)

Try Bombay Stores in Bradford.

The Annual sale is now on until the end of November.

I saw one not disimilar to the monsoon dress in the Bon Marche window today as I went passed. Couldn't see it online, and it's going to be a big step down from monsoon silk - but may be worth a punt if you have one in your town.

I actually bought the one above, but thanks for your replies. Just need to find one for my stick thin 12 year old now, size 6 or 8!
