Basically, this laptop, but with more RAM (also, faster) and MUCH better graphics, capable of playing some of the latest games, also a blu-ray drive. (Also, win7 ultimate rather than vista, also has vista 64-bit COA)

http://www.acerdirect.co.uk/FO_-_Acer_Aspire_7720_Gemstone_Laptop_-_GRADE_A_-_As_New_38880-1-LX.AML0X.4/version.asp?PID=

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 2GHz
RAM: 4GB (2x2GB) 800mhz (not standard **** 667mhz)
Hard Drive: 250 GB - Serial ATA-150
Display: 17" TFT active matrix 1440 x 900
Optical Storage: Blu-Ray
Graphics Controller:nVidia GeForce 9300
Wireless Networking: Yes (Wifi N - latest)
Notebook Camera: Integrated CrystalEye webcam
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Weight: 3.6 kg
Battery: Lithium Ion

Just bought a BRAND new battery (9 cell) runs for 6 hours with a dedicated server and music playing!
I've used the laptop at a few LAN's for gaming, playing cod4 left4dead and modern warfare 2. (Also, done dirt 2 and some strategy games, AOE3 etc)

Comes with the old battery as well (lasts an hour tops) the newer 9 cell battery. Charger and cables included.

In perfect cosmetic condition no problems whatsoever, not a single scratch (i'm very OCD when it comes to keeping my electrical's in good nick)

Will post pics in first post when i get round to it after work!

£370 is a smashing price and this'd be a perfect christmas treat. Price include's P+P Via parcelmonkey. (City link)

I know the area. However, after looking at my funds I can't afford to scrape enough together. Cracking price though and good luck with your sale.

Hiya mate,This offer does look tempting, but like dtovey89, funds are especially tight at this time of year! How much would you be willing to negotiate and how much difference would it make if the delivery option was 'downgraded' to a slower and therefore cheaper method? Also, how long have you had the laptop?

Had the laptop for 3 months now.
The delivery is via City Link on parcel monkey, the 24 hour delivery is the cheapest (will only cost £7 or so) Which is cheaper than royal mail's standard 2-3 day delivery
I think the lowest i can go is £350.

Hi mate,
thanks for the info. i have asked someone who works with buying and selling laptops and computers and he has said that Acers are prone to problems and are extremely difficult to fix. Based on his advice, the highest i would be able to go would be no more than £300.

i appreciate this might not be what you would like to get for your laptop, but if you struggle to sell it and want a quick sale before xmas, let me know and we can discuss!

cheers mate

Haha unfortunately not friend, £340 is the BARE minimum i can let this go for, as it cost me alot more and that was only 3 months ago. I don't know why he would say that they are prone to problems? Or easier to fix, this laptop is in 100% condition and it's been upgraded from stock, i was looking into putting another 250gb hdd in as these laptops are EXTREMELY easy to upgrade, with 2 HDD Slots and easy access to all the major components.
Feel free to look at all the positive reviews this laptop has :P As i put alot of thought into the electronics i buy and only the best will do.

Tah

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you mate,

Wanted to ask how does the processor in this compare with the new i3's and i5's?
Is there any warranty?

The processor is slightly slower, but not a great deal compared to the i3, the i5 is deffo faster.
I don't know about the warranty mate, i bought from pc world, so it must have >8 months warranty left.
