Pretty much says it all in the title really, but anyway. I'm selling my Acer Aspire One Netbook in blue which has been modded to run Mac OSX 10.5 (Leopard). The thing runs like an absolute dream and is all round a great bit of kit.

Changes I've made:

Installed OSX Leopard 10.5
Upped the RAM to 1.5GB
Installed OSX compliant wifi card

Please note that to avoid inconvenient piracy issues, this comes with a legitimate copy of OSX Leopard.
Shipping/Payment:
£20 by courier. Payment by Paypal / BT.

The CD will be real, but you aren't supposed to do it.

Naughty naughty .......

I'm going to do this to my Dell Mini 9 :)

Good luck with sale.

is it legal to sell this......?

No operating system has been 'stolen' as it was sourced from a legit copy. Legally it's something of a grey area AFAIK, and seeing as Psystar are still managing to keep it above board, I can't see why it's an issue, but I am happy to let a mod / admin rule on it. :-)
#5
well i was told earlier by a user that for a copy to be placed on non apple hardware it must be hacked in someway and thus cant be legal as youve broken the terms of the software.
#6
Surely it's just as legal (or even more so) than selling modded xbox / xbox 360 / wii consoles. In all cases you are breaking software / hardware t&c's. Not strictly speaking illegal though AFAIK.

I've asked a mod to decide though.

I dont think it is illegal to install on non apple hardware. By modifying the files you are breaking the EULA but not doing anything "Illegal". Afaik anyway!

OP,

Can you confirm that this product will come with a full retail license and original medial.

Hi,

To confirm this item will be shipped with a full, retail licensed, shop bought dvd version of OSX Leopard.

Thanks,

Tom
